The chosen one

Todos tenemos, o deberíamos tener, una prenda favorita en nuestro guardarropas. Esa que no importa cómo nos quede pero amamos porque es especial, o alguna que nos quede perfecta, le hayamos tomado afecto, o sea esa que te salva de apuros.Hoy les muestro la mía, aprovechando que fue lo que usé hoy para ir al colegio y rescatar a mi bicicleta varada en Plaza Italia hace dos semanas. (No importa, tema aparte.)Creo que este sweater lo nombré ochocientas veces, pero nunca tuve la oportunidad de mostrarlo.Lo heredé de mi mamá, que lo compró en Inglaterra en el '95, cuando se fue a hacer un Master, un año antes de que yo nazca. Es super calentito, aunque al ser grande grande el frío me entra por todos lados. Por suerte me entra más abrigo abajo.
La estampa onda tribal o -azteca- como me gusta decirle a mi, es hermosa, y los colores están elegidos a la perfección. Estoy e-n-a-m-o-r-a-d-a. Algo que me llamó la atención del sweater, es que hoy cuando leí la etiqueta decía (en inglés): "El diseño de ésta pieza está cubierto por copyright y cualquier intento de reproducción en cualquier forma está prohibido. Se tomarán medidas."
Creo que esto habla de la calidad y originalidad de la pieza, y es super destacable. Sinceramente no creo que una etiqueta así se pueda poner en una prenda de éstas épocas, porque si nos sinceramos, cada prenda es la copia super-mega-hiper distorsionada de alguna otra. 

We all have –or should if don’t- a favorite piece in our guardrobe.  That one you love no matter how it fits you, or one that really suits you, one that has gained your love, or maybe that one thing that always saves you in a hurry. Today I’m showing you mine, as it was what I wore today for school and to go save my bycicle that was stuck in Plaza Italia for two weeks. (But that’s another thing.)This sweater was my mother’s, who bought it in England in 1995, when she went to get a Master Degree, a year before I was born.  It’s extremely warm, although as it’s too big for me, I always get a little cold inside. Luckily I can wear another sweater inside it. I love the tribal or –aztec- print, and I think the colours were picked perfectly. I’m madly in love with this sweater.There’s one thing that caught my attention today when I was checking its tag, it said: "The design of this garment is covered by copyright and any attempt to reproduce in any form is forbidden. Action will be taken." 
I think this talks about the quality and originality of the piece, and it’s really respectable. I honestly don’t think anything could have such a tag nowadays, because if we’re really honest, every piece of clothing is an extremely distorted copy of another one.
