The Style Council – Café Bleu

Otro que me ha borrado SoundCloud. The Style Council se formaron después de que Paul Weller desmontó a los Jam, lo formaban el propio Weller a la guitarra, composición y voz, el teclista Mick Talbot. Posteriormente se les unieron el batería Steve White y la cantante Dee. C. Lee. Editaron una buena colección de álbumes con mucho éxito, hacían una especie de pop sofisticado con algo de soul y algo de música de baile con algún detalle jazzy, es difícil a veces describir el estilo del grupo.

He escogido tres temas tranquilos de la pausada cara A del disco (de cuando aún habían diferentes caras): The Whole Point of No Return, Blue Café en donde contaron con la magnifica voz de Tracey Thorn de los Everything but the girl – incluyo la letra -  y My Ever Changing Moods.
