Hoy es el Día de la Tierra y si echáis un vistazo a Pinterest seguro que vais a encontrar actividades para que los niños aprendan sobre la importancia de cuidar el planeta.
Me parece una gran idea ofrecerles este tipo de actividades para llamar su atención sobre este tema, pero lo más importante y efectivo es enseñarles día a día a través de nuestros actos que cuidar y respetar la Tierra no es una opción o una moda sino una responsabilidad que tenemos como habitantes de este planeta.
Siempre digo que para cambiar el mundo tenemos que empezar por la educación, y que las pequeñas acciones de cada día son las que marcan la diferencia a largo plazo. Os dejo un vídeo que expresa esta idea muy claramente, y otro vídeo más para que lo veáis con vuestros peques y les transmitáis lo maravilloso que es nuestro planeta y lo importante que es cuidarlo. Today is Earth Day and if you take a look at Pinterest you’re certainly going to find activities for children to learn about the importance of protecting the planet.
I think it’s a great idea to offer this type of activities to draw their attention to this issue, but the most important and effective thing to do is to teach every day through our actions that respecting the Earth is not an option or a fad but a responsibility we have as citizens of this planet.
I always say that in order to change the world we have to start with education, and that small daily actions make all the difference in the long term.
