Track shoes, are you ready for their reign?

Los botines Dicker y las Willow de Isabel Marant desataron la locura, les siguieron las antiestéticas pero comodísimas Birkenstock y más tarde, las clásicas Stan Smith de Adidas. Pero ahora hay un nuevo rey en la selva y poco a poco va a haciéndose hueco entre sus competidores más directos, porque sí, los track shoes han llegado para quedarse.
Son mastodónticos, exagerados y ¿por qué no?, a veces un poco difíciles de mirar. Están abanderados por Stella McCartney – recordemos su colección Primavera-Verano 2014 – y las low-cost se han hecho eco de esta incipiente tendencia, arrastrando consigo al street style más variopinto.
¿Será este el ascenso de los zapatos con suela track?
Dicker booties and Willow sneakers by Isabel Marant start the craze, they were followed by the unsightly but comfortable Birkenstock, and later, by the classic Adidas Stan Smith.
But there is a new king in the jungle and brick by brick it is making space for himself among its rivals, yes, the track shoes are here, and they plan to stay for a while.
They are colossal, excessive and why not, also a little bit hard to watch. But well, they are protected by Stella McCartney – let’s remember the Spring –Summer 2014 collection – and the low-cost shops are spreading the trend, and so it is the street style.
Will this be the ascent of shoes with track sole?
