Este es mi pequeño homenaje a Robin Williams, uno de mis actores preferidos. DEP querido amigo.

the prize we sought is won;----------->ganamos el premio que buscamos;
the port is near, the bells I hear,--->el puerto está cerca, escucho las campanas
the people all exulting,-------------->todo el mundo está exultante,
while follow eyes the steady keel,---->mientras siguen con sus ojos la firme quilla,
the vessel grim and daring:----------->el barco severo y desafiante:
but o heart! heart! heart!------------>pero ¡oh corazón!¡corazón!¡corazón!
o the bleeding drops of red,---------->oh, las lágrimas se tiñen de rojo,
where on the deck my Captain lies,---->mi Capitán está sobre la cubierta
fallen cold and dead.----------------->caído y muerto de frío.

my father does not feel my arm,-------->mi padre no siente mi brazo,
he has no pulse nor will;-------------->no tiene pulso ni voluntad;
the ship is anchor’d safe and sound,--->el barco está anclado sano y salvo,
it´s voyage closed and done;----------->el viaje ha terminado y se ha hecho;
from fearful trip, the victor ship,---->de un viaje temeroso, el barco triunfador,
comes in with object won;-------------->entra con su objetivo realizado;
exult, o shores, and ring, O bells!---->exultamos, ¡oh costas y sonidos, oh campanas!
but I, with mournful tread,------------>pero yo, con triste pisada
walk the deck my Captain lies,--------->camino en cubierta donde está mi Capitán,
fallen cold and dead.------------------>caído y muerto de frío.
