TRIP&CHIC: Arlés

Ahora si que nos metemos de lleno en la antigua provincia francesa de la Provenza. ARLÉS.Fundada por los griegos en el siglo VI a.C. Tras ser conquistada primero por los celtas y después de los Romanos, hasta que en el siglo IV a.C revivió el apollo de Julio Cesar por haberse levantado este pueblo en contra de su enemigo Pompeyo. Fue cuando todas las riquezas de Massalia (Marsella) fueron traspasadas a Arelate (antiguo nombré de Arlés).
Pero no sólo nosotros fuimos atraídos a esta ciudad por sus "Les Arenes" y su Anfiteatro; El pintor Vincent Van Gogh vivió gran parte de su vida enamorado de sus calles, en las que están inspiradas muchas de sus obras (300 en total). 
Pero como siempre digo, y siempre diré... una imagen vale más que mil palabras...

Que tendrán estas estructuras creadas hace más de dos mil años que me maravillan con su arquitectura así como en el milagro de que fueran capaces de erigirlas con los recursos mínimos de entonces, comparándolos con los de ahora, y que las inclemencias del tiempo así como las guerras nos permitan aun pasear por ellas manteniéndolas en tan buen estado (me pongo profunda yo jaja)

VAN GOGHSe puede realizar un circuito por la ciudad (1euro la guía en la oficina de turismo) donde visitar los distintos lugares que inspiraron a Van Gogh, donde se puede ver una baldosa con la representación de la pintura y justo en frente el paisaje que lo inspiró. Una experiencia diferente y muy recomendable.
VAN GOGH You can take a tour around town (1 euro guide in the tourist office) where you can visit the different places that inspired Van Gogh, where you can see a tile with the representation of painting and right across the landscape that inspired . A different experience and highly recommended....
