Un par de pendientes para la niña

¡Hola! Hace unas semanas me enfrentaba a una decision importante: Qué pendiente debía ocupar mi oreja en los próximos, al menos, 16 años. Y, como cada vez que os pido consejo, me lo distéis y éste es el pendiente que elegistéis. Hello! Some weeks ago I was facing an important decision: which earring should be part of my ear for the next, at least, sixteen more years. Like every time I ask you for advice you gave it to me and this was the winner earring.

Lo mejor es que yo había elegido clarísimamente el de la estrella y pensaba que nada me iba a hacer cambiar de opinión… ☺ 

The best part was that my favorite earring was the one with a little star and thought that nothing was going to make me change my opinion… ☺  Aquel día abrí un concurso muy especial, junto a la tienda de joyas online Chance, que iba a permitir a una niña recién nacida o que fuera a nacer este año ganar sus primeros pendientes.

Preparar y publicar este post ha sido muy especial. Lo increíble han sido los emails que he recibido con historias realmente impresionantes e impactantes. Después de leer a estas madres expectantes o recién dadas a luz, me reafirmo en todo lo que aporta traer vida a este mundo; tener hijos, esperarlos… es algo mágico, un pequeño milagro que nos cambia y transforma de diferentes maneras, algunas más radicales que otras, pero que es algo grandioso. 

That day I also started a very special contest. The jewelry brand Chance and me wanted to give away the first pair of earrings to a newborn or born to be baby girl.

Getting this post ready has been great. The best part was the emails I received with all those feelings and stories coming from pregnant women and moms. What is clear is the fact that giving birth is a magical thing that gets to transform us in one way or another. Thanks to all that have taken part of this. I have chosen a winner randomly and number 8 was the winner. I am sure that the mother of that girl in the eco can recognize her baby. ☺

 

Así que muchas gracias a todas por haber participado. Hubiera dado un par de pendientes a cada una de vuestras hijas porque todas se lo merecen, pero al final, hay solo un par en juego. Si al principio la idea era valorar las frases o historias más bonitas, me he visto incapaz de hacerlo así porque todas eran especiales. Así que finalmente he optado por el hazar que ha elegido la eco número 8. Seguro que su mama la sabe reconocer fácilmente. ☺ Entre las participantes están dos familias que esperan la adopción de un hijo. Fijaos que una de las ecografías no es un niño…

Aprovecho para dar las gracias a Chance por haberme dado la oportunidad de haber montado este concurso tan especial. Y además, como su nombre indica, por haber dado la oportunidad a una niña de iniciarse en el mundo de la coquetería y de lo femenino. A ver con qué pendiente se queda.
