Como apasionada de las velas que soy, al igual que muchas de vosotras, que lo se yo :p No he podido resistirme a los tan conocidos y alabados tarts de Yankee Candle.
Fue gracias a Priscila del blog Be Fashion Be Beauty que pude hacerme con ellos a un precio tan espectacular en velasdeolor.es
Ahora mismo os estoy escribiendo esta entrada y estoy flipando con el olor que me dan las tartaletas sin ser quemadas (porque aun tengo que hacerme con un quemador), así que ¡no se qué será esto cuando las queme! Definitivamente tendré que usar muy poquito o derretirlas en una habitación bastante grande porque sino puede recargar demasiado la habitación, por la impresión que me está dando ahora.
Eso sí, el irresistible olor que tienen todas (algunas más que otras) en conjunto es una delicia. Una muy buena compra, ¡si señora!
Pero conozcamos un poco más sobre esta marca.
Humilde comienzo...Navidades de 1969. El joven Mike Kittredge, a sus 17 años, se quedó pelado al comprarle un regalo navideño a su madre. Derritió unas cuantas pinturas de cera para crear una vela para ella. Un vecino le convenció para que se la vendiera a su madre. Con ese pequeño capital, compró suficiente cera para crear dos velas - una para su madre y otra para vender. As a candle lover, like many of your guys :p I couldn't resist myself from trying out these famous tarts from the beloved Yankee Candlee.

I'm typing this blog post right now and I am amazed by the fragrance these little guys bring into my bedroom even if they haven't been burnt yet! I still need to purchase the item to burn them, so I don't know what's gonna happen when I melt them xD The scent will be stronger? softer? the same?
I may also need to burn them on a bigger room since this scent can be a bit too much for small areas.
Anyway, the smell is incredible! (I like some of them better than others) The fragrance they have all together is great. Nice purchase!

From humble beginnings...

Conociendo Velasdeolor.esSe trata de una página web situada en Cádiz especializada en la venta de esta reconocida marca a precios muy competitivos para ser vendidos en España. La dirigen dos hermanas y un hombre :) todos de la familia, así que saben perfectamente lo que buscamos. (Parece que aquí todo es más caro siempre y ellas han roto esa norma).Por lo que he podido observar, en la web oficial  de Yankee Candle los venden a 1.99$ (unos 1,44€) por lo que el precio que nos ofrece esta fantástica web por cada tart o tartaleta (varía entre 1,22€ ~1,75€ según si están de oferta o no) es más que aceptable y muy tentador.Os resumo los puntos importantes para la compra en esta web y los aspectos por los que la recomiendo. No podría estar más encantada. Es una página web como pocas. ¡LE DOY UN 10 ABSOLUTO!PROS

La verdad es que he comprado un poco al tuntún y teniendo en cuenta las opiniones que se muestran en la web de otros compradores.
De las tartaletas que he recibido me gustan (solo por el olor que desprenden sin ser quemadas, recordad que esto es un haul de primeras impresiones) las siguientes.

Pink SandsSutilmente dulce con un aire a frutas tropicales.- Perfecta para el verano tomando algún refresco en una terraza cerca del mar.
Black CherryOlor dulzón a piruleta de corazón sin llegar a ser cargante. A las golosas os encantará.- Increíble en las tardes rojizas de otoño junto con un té a la luz del atardecer.

It's difficult to describe fragrances objectively, so I noted down what they remind me of.
Lemon LavenderSoft, nice and relaxing.- Ideal for a spa at home, a bath or for the summer time.
Pink SandsSoftly sweet scent with a breeze of tropical fruits.- Perfect for summer and to enjoy a cold drink near the sea.
Black CherrySweet scent, like candy without being too strong. Those who love sweets will enjoy it.- Amazing for autumn afternoons enjoying a nice red sunset delighted with a cup of tea.
Midnight JasmineIt doesn't have the sweet scent that jasmines have but it's subtle and relaxing.- It reminds me of the 1st signs of spring resting on a garden under the sun.
LOS AROMAS QUE MENOS ME HAN GUSTADONo me sugieren nada por ahora. A lo mejor me huelen de otra manera siendo quemados.
Beach WoodNo huele a lo que me imaginaba. Tiene sutil aroma a jabón.
Evening AirMe huele a suavizante marino o fresco. No es un olor que me guste ni siquiera en la ropa.
Home Sweet HomeHa sido la fragancia que menos me ha gustado por su fuerte olor a especias. No huele para nada a un dulce hogar.

SCENTS THAT I DIDN'T ENJOY THAT MUCHThey may change the scent once melted, but for now I don't really like them.
Beach WoodIt doesn't smell as I though it would do. It has a subtle soap scent.
Evening AirIt smells kind of marine cloth conditioning soap. I don't like this kind of scent even on my clothes.
Home Sweet HomeIt's the one I dislike the most. It has a strong spicy scent and it doesn't remind me of a sweet home environment.
