Vestíbulo, vista general.

Da lugar a dos pasillos: este es el primero, que da a la parte protocolaria, al llamado “Patio de las Doncellas”, que es el más lujoso de los dos. / It gives entry to two corridors: this is the first one, which leads to the protocol part of the building, the so-called «Courtyard of the Maidens«.

Este es el techo de la primera parte del pasillo anterior. / And this is the ceiling of the first part of the previous corridor. Este es el final del pasillo antes de la puerta de entrada a la siguiente habitación. La vista de este mismo pasillo, desde el final del mismo. / This is the end of the hallway before the front door to the next room.

Podemos apreciar además el juego de luces: cuando se entra se va hacia una menor luminosidad, lo que es interesante por el calor de Sevilla en verano. Mientras, cuando se sale, cada vez se tiene más luminosidad, como si se estuviera avisando de que se sale al patio, al aire libre.

We can also appreciate the play of lights: when you enter you go towards a lower luminosity, which is interesting because of the heat of Seville in summer. Meanwhile, when you go out, you have more and more light, as if you were warning that you are going out to the patio, in the open air.

Siguiente estancia, a la que pertenece el techo anterior. / Next room, to which the previous roof belongs. Techo del segundo pasillo, que es el que da a la parte doméstica, al llamado “Patio de las Muñecas”. Se permite así mantener la privacidad de los espacios interiores, respecto de los que son protocolarios o de Estado.
Roof of the second corridor, which is the one that overlooks the domestic part, the so-called «Patio de las Muñecas«. This allows the privacy of interior spaces to be maintained, separating them from those that are used for protocol or State functions.
