If you have survived yesterday, now get ready for your second day!!!Most of the places we will be visiting today are part of the oldest area of Manhattan, and of course this will take us a long time.
First stop only to admire the FlatironBuilding from every angle. The nearest subway stop is 23st with Broadway.

And this is the map with the itinerary we will be following after this, entirely on foot:

Then we will go into the subway again towards Castle Clinton (point A), in Battery Park. You can get off at Bowling Green, South Ferry or Whitehall St. By the way, tours to the Statue of Liberty leave from here, I have not included it in these itineraries but if you want to visit or do the combined visit together with Ellis Island you can substitute the visit to a Museum that I am proposing on the third day for this tour.
Statue of Liberty
In any case it is worth strolling a bit in Battery Park and watch from it the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and New Jersey. But thee first thing you are going to see is the US Custom House, which right now is theNationalMuseumof the American Indian, and take your picture together with the Charging Bull (point B). After the already mentioned promenade in Battery Park (point C) you will get to theWorldFinancialCenter(point D). From here, and towardsTrinityChurch(point F), you will be able to see the new National September 11 Memorial and Museum (point E).
Trinity Church and its cemetery are worth a good visit and from here you are pretty close to the most interesting buildings at Wall Street: the Federal Hall (point G), the New York Stock Exchange (point H), and the Federal Reserve Bank (point I).
New York Stock Exchange
We head north again to see St. Paul’s Chapel (point J), that miraculously survived 9/11 and then we arrive at City Hall Park (point K), where you will be able to see some interesting buildings, among them, the City Hall and the Woolworth Tower.

From here it is easy to walk to South Street Seaport (point L), where you can have something to drink and eat and go shopping.Feel like doing more?In a few days the second part of this intense second day in NYC.
