Capes, the must have outwear

Con la llegada del frio empezamos a buscar prendas de abrigo que nos protejan de las bajas temperaturas. El abrigo sigue siendo una prenda única pero ha perdido escaños gracias a la popularidad de las capas y los ponchos. Ellos son lo mas de esta temporada, a modo de manta, como abrigo o jersey todo vale.. / Arriving the cold weather we start seeking for warm clothing to avoid low temperatures. Coats still on the edge but they have lost seats due to the popularity of capes and ponchos. They are the starts of the season, as blankets, as coats or sweaters all is suitable.

La mas popular es la de Burberry, una manta en tonos marrones, granates, negros y ocres hecha en lana y cachemir que ha sido la mas chic, estilosa y elegante. - La capa masculina. / Male cape. 

Se trata de la capa que recuerda a un abrigo del vestuario masculino. Lisa, termina justo en la rodilla, ya sea por encima o por debajo de esta. Dicese de aquella capa que recuerda a una manta. Ideal para crear un look informal con un jersey, y unos vaqueros o una mallas. Según la RAE, esta seria realmente la capa, ya que la define de este modo: "Prenda de vestir larga y suelta, sin mangas, abierta por delante, que se lleva sobre los hombros encima del vestido." /It is said of that cape that resembles a blanket. La capa de punto sustituye al jersey. Se lleva encima de las prendas a modo de jersey, y se pone por la cabeza. Queda ideal con unos vaqueros o una faldita con vuelo. - El poncho. 

La real academia de la lengua española lo define así: "Prenda de abrigo que consiste en una manta, cuadrada o rectangular, de lana de oveja, alpaca, vicuña, o de otro tejido, que tiene en el centro una abertura para pasar la cabeza, y cuelga de los hombros generalmente hasta más abajo de la cintura". Sin embargo, las webs de moda y los expertos en esta llaman poncho a un trozo de tela que recuerda a un fular pero con mayor extensión y tela mas gordita. El caso, es que viendo ambas definiciones, distinguir un poncho de una capa no es tan sencillo, ya que en el fondo hablamos de lo mismo. / The Royal Academy of the Spanish Language define it as: "Warm garment consisting of a blanket, rectangular or square, in wool, alpaca, vicuña, or other fabic, which has on its center an opening for the head and usually hangs from the shoulders to below the waist." However, websites and fashion experts call poncho to a piece of fabric that resembles a scarf but with longer and more plump fabric. Seeing both definitions distinguish a poncho from a cape is not so simple because at the end both are the same.
