Esta mañana la he empezado corriendo para no perderme el desfile de Ailanto que era a las 10.30. He salido pitando de casa con taconazos, eso si las bailarinas las llevaba en el bolso porque sino la vuelta de Ifema es infernal, y eso que voy en coche. Pero no me enrollo y paso a lo importante, que me imagino que estáis deseando que os cuente todo sobre el desfile. / I have started this morning running to don't miss Ailanto runway at 10.30 a.m. I left home in a rush with high heels, and my ballerinas on my handbag because if not the return home is like hell, even I go by car. But lets go to the catwalk, I bet you are willing to know all about the show.
Inspirados en los Alpes, y en los deportes de invierno, Ailanto presenta su colección Otoño-Invierno 2011-2012 sobre una pasarela transformada en una pista de hielo. De nuevo, Aitor e Iñaki, nos sorprenden con unos tejidos de exquisita calidad, y unos estampados excelentes. Pero vamos a ver la colección con detalle. / Inspired by the Alps and winter sports, Ailanto has presented their Fall-Winter 2011-2012 collection on a catwalk turned into and ice rink. Again, Aitor and Iñaki, have surprises us with a fine quality fabrics and excellent prints. But let's look at the collection in detail.
La colección juega con el volumen, para evocar los vientos invernales, creando una sensación tridimensional gracias a los tejidos que emplea. Encontramos dos estilos de figuras. Por un lado, la silueta lápiz con caída completamente vertical. Y por otro, volúmenes en la parte superior, que disminuyen en la posterior dando paso a tejidos más ligeros y con mucho movimiento. / The collection plays with volume, to recall winter winds, creating a three dimensional sensation view thanks to the fabrics they use. We found two types of figures. On one side, the pencil vertical silhouette. On the other, volumes in the upper part of the body decreasing on the down side leaving light fabrics with so much movement.
El color está presente en gran parte de la colección aunque predominan los tonos neutros; grises, negros, blancos, marrones, neutros, rojos, rosas. Entre los estampados destacan los florales y vegetales, como oda a la Primavera, que se crean a partir de bordados, encajes, o diminutos agujeros que dibujan hojas coloreadas con acuarelas. / Color is part of the whole collection highlighting neutrals color as the main ones; grey, black, white, brown, nude, red, pink. Among the prints highlight flowers and vegetables, as an ode to Spring, that are made from embroideries, lace or tiny holes that draw watercolor leaves.
Como comentaba al principio las telas son fabulosas: punto de viscosa, lana, cloqué imitando punto, sedas, algodón satinado, crêpe, jacquard, y algodón. / As I told you at the begging of the post, the fabrics are gorgeous: viscose stitch, wool, seersucker imitating knit, silks, satin cotton, crêpe, jacquard, and cotton.
Las prendas: abrigos con botones oversize, chaquetas cortas de manga ancha, capas, ponchos, conjuntos de seda, pantalones acampanados, shorts, fruncidos en el bajo o capri terminando en media pantorrilla, el monos que es la prenda clave de la colección, faldas y vestidos. / The garments: coats with oversize buttons, pants pleats at the low or capri ending in half calf, shorts, short jackets with wide sleeves, bell bottons pants, jumpsuits that are the clue garment of this collection, skirt and dresses.
Mis prendas favoritas son un mono gris y unos pantalones de pata ancha rojos ¡divinos! / My favorite garments are a grey jumpsuit and red bell bottoms, they are divine!
Los accesorios: Destacan grandes muñequeras compuestas por piedras sin pulir de distintos materiales. Además la diseñadora Beatriz Furest ha creado dos bolsos para esta colección, ambos tipo bandolera, uno estilo satchel y el otro saco. Como calzado, botines de ante o peil con plataforma, diseñados por Magerit. El resto de los accesorios, son característicos de las zonas helidas; bufandas y calcetines de punto. / The accessories: Highlight big cuff made of stones different materials. Plus the designer Beatriz Fureast has create two bags for this collection, both are shoulder bags, one satchel and other a sack. As footwear, suede or leather platform booties design by Magerit. The rest are characterize of permafrost zones; scarf and knit socks.
¿Qué os esta pareciendo Cibeles? ¿y esta colección? Desde luego es más invernal de lo que nos tienen acostumbrados Aitor e Iñaki. / What do you think about Cibeles? and this collection? Its more winter than what we are use to see on Aitor and Iñaki designs.
