Color crazy iii: orange

El naranja es un tono que mucha gente evita porque es considerado demasiado atrevido, sin embargo favorece mucho, sobre todo a una piel morena porque añade brillo. Además esta temporada viene con fuerza. / Orange its a color many people avoid because is seen as too daring, however it's very flattering, especially on tan skins because it adds shine. Plus this season it comes stong. 

Si, las pasarelas también se han visto vestidas de naranja. La más popular fue la de Jil Sander, pero desde luego no fue la única. / Yes the runways has been dress with orange. The most popular was Jil Sander, but of course, it wasn't the only one.

Si este invierno el nuevo negro era el camel, ahora le toca al naranja. Durante esta temporada de Primavera-Verano, desterramos el negro de nuestros armarios y en su lugar colocaremos el naranja porque es el tono que mejor se combina con el resto del pantone. / If last winter camel was the new black, now its the orange turn. During this Spring-Summer, we will banish black from our wardrobe and will place orange instead because its the color that best matches the rest of the pantone. 
 


¿Cómo llevar el naranja? / How to wear orange?

1. Morenas. / Tan girls. 

Si eres morena, y tu piel es oscura o de tonos oliva, opta por un naranja tipo mango. / If your are brown and your skin is dark or olive, chose a bright orange such as mango.
2. Pieles claras. / Clear skin.

Si tu piel es clara y eres pálida busca un naranja apagado./ If your skin is cear and you are pale, look for a orange off.
3. No olvides que eres tú. / Don't forget you are you. 

No dejes que la prenda sea la protagonista, si eres bajita olvidarte del naranja o ponte unos taconazos porque de lo contrario se verá sólo la prenda y tú desaparecerás. / Don't let the garment be the protagonist, if you are small forget about orange or wear it with high heels otherwise people will only see the garment and you will disappear.
4. Si quieres puedes. / If you want you can.

Igual el naranja no te sienta bien o no te ves con él, pero te apetece llevarlo porque es tendencia este año. No te preocupes y busca una prenda de abajo, o algún complemento naranja como unos zapatos, un bolso o un cinturón. / Maybe orange doesn't suit you or you don't see yourself wearing it, but you feel like get on the trend. Don't bother and find a bottom garment or and orange accessory such as a pair of shoes, bag or a belt.

1. Naranja + Azul. / Orange + Blue. 

La mejor combinación es mezclar un naranja fuerte con un azul klein, eléctrico o tinta, es la forma más fashion de llevarlo aunque también puedes optar por combinarlo con otros tonos de azules; es lo bueno de la moda, toda creatividad es aceptable. / The best way is to mix a strong orange with a klein, electric or ink blue, it's the most fashionable way to wear it but you can also chose to wear it with other shades of blues; it's the best about fashion those days, all creativity is acceptable.

2. Naranja + Rosa o Fucsia. / Orange + Pink or Fucshia.

Esta primavera se llevan los colores fuertes, cuanto más fuerte mejor, así que en este caso ocurre igual que con el azul. Es decir, a un naranja fuerte hay que ponerle un rosa fuerte o un fucsia que es como queda más chic, aunque todo vale. / This Spring strong colors are in, the stronger the better, so in this case is like the blue. I mean, a bright orange match better with a hot pink or fuchsia; it looks more chic, but all is suitable.

3. Naranja + Verde. / Orange + Green.
Es una combinación fresca y veraniega, además de muy chic. Aquí ocurre igual que con el azul klein, el verde cuanto más fuerte mejor. / Its a fresh and summery combination, and too chic. Hear happens as with klein blue, green as stronger as better.

4. Naranja + Amarillo. / Orange + Yellow.

Una combinación muy veraniega apta para las pieles más morenas. Si estás morena ambos tonos darán mucha luz a tu piel. / A ver summery combination, suitable for tan skins. If your get tan mixing both colors will give planty of light to your skin.

5. Naranja  + Negro. / Orange + Black. 

Esta mezcla es perfecta para ir a trabajar, porque le da un aire serio pero a la vez veraniego y elegante. ¡Me encanta! / Its a perfect mix to go to work, because it give it a serious air but at the same time summery and elegant. Love it!

6. Naranja + Morado. / Orange + Purple. 

El morado es un tono que mucha gente evita, sobre todo en España porque nos recuerda a Semana Santa, sin embargo es un color que favorece mucho a las castañas y morenas, y que junto con el naranja queda super estiloso. / Purple is a tone many people avoid, specially in Spain due to the Passion Week (Easter), however its a very flattering color for brunettes, and together with orange its looks so stylish.

7. Naranja + Blanco. / Orange + White.

Si el naranja es el nuevo negro, entonces ¿qué mejor combinación que el blanco?, además el blanco es un color muy veraniego. / If orange its the new black what better choice than wear it with white? plus white it' such a summery color.
