Daranya: precious objects

Hace unas semanas, cuando me conecte al mail, había un correo de Daranya. ¿Daranya, que es eso?, pensé. El mail explicaba que era una firma de joyería que nació en el 2005 de la mano de dos amigas, Gloria y Elena, que compartían el gusto por las joyas y las antigüedades. Ambas crearon la firma con la idea de diseñar joyas con historia; recuperando piezas antiguas, o creando nuevas, inspiradas en otras épocas y culturas. / A few weeks ago, I got an email from Daranya. Daranya, what is that? I thought. The email explained, that it was a jewelry brand that was born in 2005 by two friends, Gloria and Elena, that share their passion for jewels and antiques. The firm was born with the idea of designing jewels with history; retrieving old pieces or designing new once, inspired in ancient times and cultures.



Las piezas que diseñan son, en su mayoría únicas. Algunas de ellas están creadas a partir de piezas que vienen de Oriente Próximo, u otros países, en muy mal estado y ellas las restauran, creando nuevas joyas. Otras, son series limitadas de como mucho cinco piezas, lo que hace de Daranya, una firma exclusiva. / The pieces they design are, in most of the cases, only pieces. Some of them are made from pieces that comes from Middle East, or other countries, in bad conditions and they restore them, making new jewels. Others, are limited editions compose of as much as five pieces, witch turns Daranya into an exclusive brands. 




Además, en el mail, nos invitaban a varias bloggers al lanzamiento de sus nuevas creaciones, ayer sábado por la tarde, en un loft ideal en la zona de Arturo Soria, y allí estuvimos un par de horas descubriendo la colección, y conociéndonos./ On the email, they invited us, a few bloggers, to the lunch of their new pieces, yesterday, Saturday afternoon, in a cute loft in Arturo Soria, and we were there a couple hours discovering the collection and meeting each other.

En Daranya podéis encontrar: anillos, broches, collares, pendientes, pulseras, estolas de piel años 20 y bolsos. Para las joyas emplean plata blanca, plata chapada en oro y piedras semi preciosas. Y encima los precios son asequibles, van de los 50 euros a los 500 euros. / In Daranya you can find: rings, broochs, braceletes, 20´s fur stole, and purses. For the jewels they use white silver, silver plated in gold and gemstones. And the prices are fine, they go from 50 euros to 500 euros.






Gloria y Elena, son dos magnificas profesionales, que hacen de la joyería un arte, todas quedamos prendadas de sus piezas. Y encima dejaron que nos las probáramos... así que os podéis hacer una idea de la divertido que fue. / Gloria and Elena, are two great professionals that turn their work into an art, all of us come in love with their pieces. Plus they even let us try them on... so imagine how funny it was.  Natalia guapísima con este collar. / Natalia looks so beautiful with this necklace.   
Unos pendientes divinos al mas puro estilo Serenna de Gossip Girl. (Al menos, coincidimos en ello Natalia, y yo) / A gorgeous erring that remind us (Natalia and I) to Serenna from Gossip Girl.
Aquí me v´sis con la pieza de la que me enamore. / Hear I am with my favorite piece of the collection.
Mis piezas favoritas. / My favorite pieces.
1. Collar de lapislázuli, si os fijáis detenidamente, se ven pequeños destellos dorados en la piedra azul. Si, la quiero... / A lapis lazuli necklace, if you look at the image carefully, you can see small gold dots on the stone. Yes, I want it so bad.

2. Pendientes (los de la derecha) en verde y rosa... son divinos. / Earing (on the right) in green and pink.... they are gorgeous.

3. Collar divino para un vestido con escote en la espalda. / Great necklace to wear with a dress with a naked back.

Estoy convenciada de que estáis deseando saber donde podéis encontrar estas piezas, ¿me equivoco? Pues es muy sencillo, tienen tienda on-line. Y podaís estar tranquilas porque la web es de total confianza, es genial porque estas piezas son para toda la vida. Así, que sólo me queda dejaros su web, aqui.
