DIY #23. Personaliza bolsitas de té/Customizing tea bags

Si os gusta el té, quizá queráis que esté presente de manera especial en vuestra boda incluyendo una selección de tés para la sobremesa o, incluso, regalando una bolsita a cada invitado. Por eso hoy os mostramos cómo crear bolsitas de té personalizadas.

If you like tea, you might want it to be part of your wedding somehow. For example, by offering an after-lunch tea selection or giving each guest a tea bag. And that’s why today we are posting how to customize your own tea bags.

Los materiales que vamos a utilizar son los siguientes:

• · Té a granel.
• · Filtros de té.
• · Hilo de bordar y aguja.
• · Las etiquetas para personalizar los tés. Aquí os podéis descargar la plantilla que he utilizado en este caso.

These are the elements we are going to use:

• · Loose tea leaves.
• · Tea filters.
• · Embroidery thread.
• · Tea customizing tags. Click here for downloading the template I have used in this DIY.

1. Llena una de las bolsitas con una cucharada de té.

1. Fill a tea bag with a teaspoon of tea.

2. Dobla la bolsa para cerrarla

2. Fold the bag  to shut it up.

3. Cose el extremo con el hilo dejando una hebra larga. También puedes grapar el hilo a la bolsa si lo prefieres.

3. Sew it, leaving a long thread. You can also staple thread and tea bag, it’s up to you.

4. Recorta la etiqueta y dóblala por la mitad.

4. Cut the tag out, fold it in half.

5. Pasa el hilo por el doble, haciendo un nudo en el interior.

5. Get the thread through the tag, just in the middle of the fold and tie a knot inside.

Y si estáis pensando en ofrecerlo como detalle, aquí tenéis otro pdf con sobres para guardar las bolsitas. Solo tenéis que recortar los sobres y pegar los bordes. En este caso, nosotros hemos completado la presentación con un lazo.

And if you are planning to give it as a gift, here goes another pdf document with some envelopes to keep tea bags inside. Just cut out the envelopes and stick the edges. In this example, we have ended it up with a ribbon bow.
