[Hair update]: Keeping up the grayness / Mantiendo el cabello decolorado

Como les platicaba en éste artículo, he estado muy contentita con mis dos mechones de cabello tipo Titania, pero el cabello sigue creciendo, además de que el agua y otros factores no solo maltratan el cabello sino que también cambian su color y textura. 
Una vez que mi cabello creció fue necesario decolorar de nuevo (retocar la raíz), y matizar el resto del cabello. Es padrísimo salir del salón con el cabello muy bien estilizado y justo con el color que buscabas, pero no se puede dejarle todo el trabajo a tu estilista, así que aquí les comparto algunos productos que les serán de utilidad si ustedes como yo también tienen el cabello muy decolorado o si buscan conseguir una tonalidad platinada o grisacea.
Remember I shared with you guys on this article how happy and trilled I was with my latest hairstyle? Well I still am, but hair keeps growing, and water and the environment not only damage your hair but even change its color and texture.
Once my hair grew a bit, it was necessary to go back to the salon for a touch up, bleaching my hair and tone it. It fees so god leaving the salon with your hair properly done, and with the exact color you were looking for! But oh well... you can't just leave it all in the hands of your stylist, so I'm sharing with you some products that cn be very useful for all you ladies with blached hairstyles or who are trying to achieve a gray o silver hair shade.

1) Para evitar que el cabello se vea amarillento o incluso verdoso (si no lo tienes muy decolorado), yo utilizo un shampoo con pigmentos entre morados y azulados. To avoid your hair from turning yellow or even greenish if it is not too bleached, I use a special shampoo with blue and purpleish pigments on it.  a: L'oreal Professional Serie Expert Silver.   b: Clairol Shimmer Lights. Disponible en Sally Beauty / Available at Sally Beauty.
  c: Hask Blue Chamomile & Argan oil.  Shampoo morado para cabello rubio con aceite de argan disponible en Sally Beauty / Available at Sally Beauty.
  d: Dibal Shampoo Matizador. Disponible en tiendas Probel en la República Mexicana. /Available only in México.
Se recomienda utilizar este tipo de shampo unos 2-3 veces a la semana para mantener el color y el resto de los días utilizar un shampoo reparador o restructurante, del cual hablaremos en el siguiente punto.Les aclaro que tanto la opción b y c, me las han recomendado pero hasta ahora no las he probado, y les puedo decir que mi experiencia con la opción a, el shampoo Serie Expert Silver de L'oreal es muy bueno, ya que corrige el color dejando un blanco muy brillante, y no deja el cabello seco o duro. La opción d, es muy económica, puedes usar este shampoo para matizar los grises y blancos, o bien si lo dejas reposar más tiempo incluso te dará algo de color morado. Lo que si les recomiendo es que después de enjuagarlo usen un buen acondicionador o incluso alternarlo con mascarillas ya que suele dejar el cabello un poco tieso.
It's best to use this type of shampoos 2 or 3 times a week to keep the color, and of course it is very important that the rest of the week you use a repairingand protecting shampoo, which is the next down in our list.Several people have recommended options b and c, but I have not tried them so far. I can tell you that my experience with option a, the Serie Expert L'oreal Silver Shampoo was great, it does give you a very nice and shiny white, and it does not leave your hair dry or hard.
2) La decoloración puede causar severos daños a nuestro cabello, por lo que es sumamente importante mantenerlo bien hidratado evitando así que se ponga cual escobeta o peor que incluso se quiebre.Bleaching you hair can cause severe damage,it is extremely important to carry on efforts to keep it well hidrated, avoiding it from becoming  coarse , difficult to manage or even breaking.     a: Kérastase Nutritive Bain Satin. 3) Finalmente es importante elegir un producto para estilizar tu cabello, para contrarestar los efectos de la secadora, la plancha, las tenazas y demás.Finally it is important to choose a good styling product that can save your hair from the damage and side effects of using the hair dryer, flat iron, curling iron and more.

Las decoloracions suelen resecar, e incluso cambian la textura y comportamiento de nuestro cabello. Cuando tenía todo mi cabello decolorado se hizo muy grifo, y rebelde,  por lo que el aceite de Kerastase (a) se volvió indespensable para mi proceso de peinado.Una vez que decidí cubrir mi cabello gris con tinte rojizo, el spray de TecItaly (b) me ayudó muchísimo a recuperar el brillo de mi cabello tan procesado y también la fortaleza de mi cabello, que había partes donde se rompía con mucha facilidad.  
Mi más reciente descubrimiento que me tiene sumamente sorprendida por su efectividad desde la primera aplicación, es la mascarilla de Keratina y colageno de Vivital (d), si tienen puntas abiertas, o mechones quemados por la plancha, o cabello sumamente procesado, hagánle un favor a su cabello y prueben esta mascarilla sin enjuague. ¡De nada! 
After bleaching your hair can get very dry, and can even change drastically in texture and how it behaves.When all my hair was bleached to white, it became very coarse and rebellious, so the Kerastase serum (a) became a must in my daily styling routine. Once I decided to cover my whole bleached mane with a cooper shade, the TecItaly spray (b) became super useful for me. Helping me recover shine and strenght  on my so far easily breaking strands.My latest discovery is a Mexican product manufactured in Guadalajara, an amazing leave-on hair mask made out of Keratine and Colagen (d), if you do not reside in Mexico, you may be able to buy it through Amazon. I sure hope so because it works wonders!
