La semana pasada, se celebró en Madrid la pasarela Cibeles Novias, a la que tuve la suerte de acudir gracias a Hannibal Laguna y su equipo. Cuando me invitaron no estaba muy segura de querer ir porque el tema de novias me queda bastante lejos pero luego lo pensé mejor: era una oportunidad estupenda para ver el trabajo de Hannibal Laguna sobre la pasarela y la verdad, mereció la pena. / Last week it took place in Madrid the runway Cibeles Brides, I was lucky to go there thanks to Hannibal Laguna and his team. When they invited I wasn't sure to feel like going because the brides subject gets too far to me but then I thought it better: it was a great chance to see Hannibal's work on the catwalk and the truth is, it worth it.

La colección de Hannibal Laguna novias esta llena de sensualidad y romanticismo. Sobre la pasarela predominó el color blanco, que representa la pureza, tradición y el rojo tirando a granate que Laguna empleó para los zapatos y sandalias de raso que lucían las modelos; una combinación que me gusta mucho porque rompe con la tradición del blanco y le da un toque sofisticado y significativo porque el rojo representa el amor y la pasión, que al fin y al cabo es lo que tendría que tener una pareja de recién casados, ¿no creéis? . / Hannibal Laguna brides collection is full of sensuality and romanticism. On the catwalk predominant white, witch represents purity, tradition and the red who seems a little maroon that Laguna uses on the sandals and pumps of satin the models wore; a mix I love because it breaks with the tradition of white and give it a sophisticated and significant because red represents love and passion, and after all is what it has to have a just married couple, don't you think?



 Si os fijaís los zapatos son de raso rojo, una opción para romper con el blanco total. / If you look at the images the pumps are in satin red, a option to break with tha total white look.

 Las propuestas de Hannibal Laguna para las novias recuerdan mucho a las de las que presentó en Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week el pasado mes de febrero, que se inspiraban en las divas de Hollywood de mitad del siglo XX y que eran fabulosos. Cortes geométricos y figuras lápiz que marcan la cintura, drapeados, plisados y bordados. Los materiales: organza, organdí, gasas, y para los detalles el raso. / Hannibal Laguna's suggestions for brides reminds so much the once he present at Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week last febrary, who were inspired in Hollywood divas of the middle of the 20 th. Century and that were so nice. Geometric cuts and pencil figures that mark the waist, draped, pleats and embroidered. The fabrics: organza, organdy, gaze and the details.

El vestido que más destacó sobre la pasarela fue uno rojo, tamaño oversize que estaba compuesto por 10.000 pétalos de rosas y hortensias naturales. La idea del diseñador con este vestido es representar lo trascendente y efímero que es un traje de novias. / The dress that highlight on the catwalk was a oversize red one made by 10.000 petal of natural roses and hydrangeas. The idea the designer had with this dress is to represent the significant and ephemeral that a wedding dress is.


La colección es estupenda, mereció tanto la pena ver el desfile que me dan ganas de casarme y todo, eso si con un vestido de Hannibal Laguna, porque son impresionantes. / The collection is gorgeous, it worth so much seen the catwalk that I even feel like getting married, but of course with a Hannibal Laguna dress, they are amazing!


¡Preciso! Me encantan los volantes. / Gorgeous! I love the bounces.
Los vestidos cortos para las novias estan muy de moda aunque personalmente no me convencen. / Short brides dresses are on fashion but I'm not sure about them.
Y al final del desfile... / And at the end of the catwalk...
