QUÉ NOS CUENTA :

La vida parece perfecta para John Brennan (Russell Crowe) hasta que su esposa, Lara (Elizabeth Banks), es arrestada por un asesinato que ella afirma no haber cometido. Tras tres años de condena, John lucha por mantener a su familia unida, por educar a su hijo Lucas (Ty Simpkins) y por seguir enseñando en la Universidad de la comunidad mientras utiliza todos los medios disponibles para demostrar la inocencia de su mujer. Con el rechazo de su apelación final, Lara comienza a tener pensamientos suicidas y John decide que no existe ningún otro camino, que sólo existe una solución posible: ayudar a su esposa a escapar de la cárcel. Negándose a ser disuadido por las pocas probabilidades de éxito o por su propia inexperiencia, John elabora un plan de escape y se sumerge en un mundo desconocido y peligroso, arriesgándolo todo por la mujer que ama.

The life seems to be perfect for John Brennan (Russell Crowe) until his wife, Lara (Elizabeth Banks), is arrested by a murder that she affirms not to have committed. After three years of sentence, John fights to support to his close family, to educate his son Lucas (Ty Simpkins) and to continue teaching in the University of the community while it uses all the available means to demonstrate the innocence of his wife. With the rejection of his final appeal, Lara begins to have suicidal thoughts and John decides that there does not exist any other way, which only exists a possible solution: to help his wife to escape of the jail.Refusing to be dissuaded for little probabilities of success or for his own inexperience, John elaborates a plan of leak and submerges in an unknown and dangerous world, risking everything for the woman who loves.
