Una de mis lectoras, viene a Madrid esta verano y me ha pedido que le recomiende tiendas, que no sean grandes cadenas de moda, para ir de Shopping y de ahí este post. La verdad, es que desde hace tiempo la idea de hacer un post de este tipo me rondaba la cabeza, pero estaba esperando hasta que pudiera comprarme una cámara en condiciones, porque la mía ya no da para mucho trote pero bueno como ella me lo ha pedido pues ahí va. / One of my readers, will be this summer in Madrid and she has ask me to recommend her a few stores, but not chains lines as Zara or Topshop, to go shopping and hear is the post. The truth is that I have thought about this but I was waiting to buy a better camera to make some nice pictures because mine is too old and there is not for much work, but let's see what I can do.
Madrid, es muy grande por ello si quieres compra en la ciudad tienes que tener claro donde quieres ir. Para mí hay dos barrios imprescindibles: Chueca-Granvía y el Barrio de Salamanca. / Madrid is a big city so you have to have clear where to go. For me there are to blocks that are essentials: Chueca-Granvía and Salamanca.
Pero según iba preparando el post de ambos barrios, me he dado cuenta de que era demasiado, así que me teneís que perdonar, pero (como me ocurre muchas veces) voy a tener que hacer otro post con las compras en el barrio Salamanca. Si os parece lo dejo para dentro de unas semanas, y así os cuento, en mis próximos post otras cosillas que tengo en el tintero y que os van a gustar. ¿Qué os parece? / As I was preparing the post of the two most important blocks to go shopping in Madrid, I realize it was too much so you will have to excuse me but (as sometimes it happends to me) I 'll have to do another post with the shopping at Salamanca block. Barrio de Chueca-Gran Vía
Es la zona más moderna de la capital (en cuanto a moda se refiere), de hecho es el Soho madrileño. Antes era una zona peligrosa de la capital pero gracias a la comunidad gay se restauró y ahora es uno de los barrios más cool de la capital. Así que si vais a venir de visita a Madrid no dejéis de visitarlo, merece la pena. / It’s the most fashion place of the city, somehow is Madrid's Soho. It use to be a dangerous place in the city but thanks to the gay community it was restore and now is one of the coolest blocks of the Spanish country seat. So if you are coming to Madrid is a place you have to visit, it’s worth it!
Dolores Promesas. Desengaño, 22.
Cuando Dolores Promesas era sólo un pequeño proyecto, conocí la marca por casualidad. Mi amiga Yolanda se compro una camiseta de Dolores en una pequeña tienda multimarca de su barrio y si a ella le encantó imaginaros a mí, me falto tiempo para encargarle una. De entonces a ahora las cosas han cambiado mucho para la firma: tienen sus propias tiendas, diseñan desde camisetas a vestidos de fiesta, y adquirir sus prendas ya no esta al alcance de cualquier bolsillo. Y la verdad; detrás hay muchas horas de trabajo y grandes dosis de creatividad, y me alegra ver como Dolores Promesas se ha convertido en lo que es. / When Dolores Promesas was only a little project, I knew the brand by chance. My friend Yolanda bought a t-shirt by Dolores at a small store where she lived and if she love the t-shirt, imagine what I felt, I lack the time to ask her to buy me one. Since then thinks have change a lot for the brand: it has its own shops, they design from t-shirts to party dresses, and buying one of its clothes it not for any pocket. And the truth is; behind the brand there are a lot of hours of work, and huge creativity and I’m please to see how Dolores Promesas has become in what is today.
