Dicen que viajar es enamorarse a cada paso y es cierto, pero también estoy convencido de que hay ciudades que tienen un encanto especial, algo que te atrapa desde el momento que llegas y no te deja ir más nunca y para mí eso es lo que tiene Utrecht, un día fue suficiente para enamorarme.

Fue una visita corta en un día de muy poca actividad como es el segundo día de Navidad (26 de diciembre), por lo que estuve un poco limitado, ya que muchos sitios turísticos estuvieron cerrados y me perdí de cosas como subir a la Torre Dom, aún así valió la pena conocer la ciudad y enamorarme de sus paisajes.

En esta visita solo tuve oportunidad de asistir a la exposición fotográfica Utrecht in Beeld. Foto’s van FF Van Der Werf (Utrecht en imágenes. Fotos por FF Van Der Werf) con fotos de cómo era y qué pasaba en Utrecht desde los treintas hasta los sesenta y pasar el resto del día recorriendo el centro de la ciudad, pero ahora que ya tuve un primer vistazo, estaré de vuelta para conocer aún más.

They say traveling is falling in love at every turn and it’s true, but I’m also convinced that there are cities that have a special charm, something that grabs you from the moment you arrive and never let you go and for me that is what Utrecht has, one day was enough to fall in love.

It was a short visit in a day of very little activity as the second day of Christmas ( December 26 ), so I was a little limited as many tourist sites were closed and I missed things like climbing the Dom Tower, still worth it to know the city and fall in love with its landscapes.

On this visit I only had the opportunity to attend the photo exhibition Utrecht in Beeld. Foto’s van FF Van Der Werf (Utrecht in picture. FF Van Der Werf’s photos) with photos of how was it and what happened in Utrecht from the thirties to the sixties and spend the day touring the city center, but now that I had a first look, I will be back to explore further.
