Yes, just the way you read it on the post title, Buenos Aires has a monument to the taxi drivers! Located in the neighbourhood of Puerto Madero, in the corner of Avenida de los Italianos and Machaca Guemes. I read it was the only sculpture in the world to pay homage to taxi drivers. The sculpture was built by artist Fernando Pugliese. The car depicted is a Siam Di Tella, as this was a classic car model often used as a taxi in our city.
