Los resultados de Media Create de la semana del 16-22 de diciembre ya están disponibles. De acuerdo a los resultados, Nintendo dominó el mercado japonés con un amplio margen en cuanto a hardware y además 16 de los "Top 20" juegos más vendidos son en las consolas de Nintendo. Sorpresivamente, el Nintendo Wii U logró la venta de más de 100,000 unidades, mientras que el Nintendo 3DS logró la venta de aproximadamente unas 232,600 unidades combinadas entre el 3DS XL y 3DS regular.
