Olivia palermo's blog

Si, lo se, os he hablado de ella, hasta la saciedad, y lo seguiré haciendo porque es una de las celebrities mejor vestidas, colabora con marcas de moda, es inspiración de diseñadores y firmas, y es un de mis iconos de moda. Así que acostumbraros a ello, aunque ya se que los que me seguís desde hace tiempo lo estáis. / Yes I know, I have been talking about her so much, and I will too in the future because she is one of the best dresser, she works with fashion brands, is an inspiration for designers and fashion houses, plus she is one of my fashion icons. So you have to be use to it, although I know that the ones of you that follow my blog from a few time ago are now too use to it. 


Pero no soy solo la única. Esta chica esta en boca de todos, lleva haciéndolo un par de años, pero es gracioso porque ahora hasta sale en las revistas de prensa rosa de nuestro país, generalmente en las secciones de estilo o moda, pero sale, hasta la revista Hola saco un reportaje sobre ella hace unos meses. / But I am not the only one. This girl is on everyone mouth, she has bee for a couple years now, but is funny because now she is even in Spanish gossip magazines, frequently in style and fashion sections, but there she is. Even Hello magazine, lunch a write up about her few month ago.



Pero, vamos a meternos en el tema central de este post. El 5 de Octubre de 2011 se produce el lanzamiento y primera población del blog de Olivia Palermo. El primer post es una pequeña bienvenida redactada por Olivia (o al menos firmada por ella), si os interesa leerla, pinchar aquí. Pero para resumirlo, hace una pequeña introducción en la que deja claro que van a haber colaboraciones en su blog, y que cuenta con un equipo de redacción, lo que es lógico, teniendo en cuenta la agenda de Olivia. / But let's get in the main theme of this post. On October 5th 2011 took place the lunch and first publication of Olivia Palermo's blog. The first post it's a small welcome written by Olivia (or at least signed by her), if you are interesting on it, click hear. But to resume it, she makes a small introduction where she makes clear that on her blog she is going to work with an editorial staff, what is normal due to her agenda.

A partir de entonces ha tenido publicaciones en el blog firmadas por distintos colaboradores o por ella misma, en las que comparte looks, noticias, tendencias, accesorios, habla de tiendas en distintos lugares, salones de belleza, hoteles, vamos un poco de todo. / Since then the blog has been publisher post signed from different people (as Olivia had called: editorial staff) or by herself, where they have share Olivia looks, news, trends, accessories, stores in different places of the world, beauty salons, hotels, well a little of everything.

Oliviapalermo.com, asi se llama, esta planteado como una plataforma online. Y a dia de hoy a sido todo un exito, en cuanto a numero de visitas y traficio web, pero en lo que se refiere a contenido, no podemos decir lo mismo. Actualiza con frecuencia si, pero hay post demasiado breves y la informacion que aporta es minima. Ademas, sus fans estaban esperando que compartiera mas imagenes de sus looks, su dia a dia, cosas especiales, y no es asi. / Oliviapalermo.com, that's the name, its set as a online platform. Today it has been a success talking in number of people visiting the web, and traffic, but if we talk about content it's so poor. The blog is been up to date frequently yes, but most of the post are too short and the information is so little. Plus her fans where waiting to see more of her looks,  her regular day, especial things, but it's not that way.

Claro que como toda empresa que empieza los comienzos son siempre duros, y estan para aprender y mejorar. Lo cierto, es que de un mes aquí, el blog ha cambiado un poco. Ademas tambien ofrece contenido interesante, porque presenta a nuevos o diseñadores menos populares pero que es interesante conocer, y lugares, tiendas o tendencias aun por descubrir por lo que si es buena idea que el blog no solo sea sobre Olivia pero estaria mejor, si contara algo mas personal sobre ella, o incluso contara con imagenes mejores o de mayor tamaño. / Of course, the beginning for each new company is hard, and it's to learn and improve. In a month, the blog has change a bit. Plus it offers interesting content, it present new or less popular designers, places, shops, trends to discover, so its a great idea that the blog is not only about Olivia but it could be improve if it will tell a bit personal stuff about her, or even if it would got  better pictures or in bigger sizes.

Nos muestra las joyas de la diseñadora, Jennifer Fisher. / Show the jewellery of Jennifer Fisher.
En uno de los últimos post, se pasea por el nuevo Hotel Armani, en Milán, el dia de la inauguración. / In one of her latest post, she walk through the new Armani Hotel in Milan, at the opening day.
En resumen, seguiremos su blog, deseando que nos sorprenda en el futuro: Oliviapalermo.com. Pero lo que queda claro, es que Olivia ha dejado de ser una chica de la alta sociedad newyorkina para convertirse en una marca. / To resume, we will follow her blog hoping that it will surprise us in the future: Oliviapalermo.com. But what is so clear, is that Olivia has stop been the new yorker socialite to turn out into a brand.
