Ready for red?

En invierno el color también importa, cierto es que en las tiendas el tono que mas destaca es el negro, pero si nos fijamos bien no es el único color que podemos encontrar. Aunque el granate es mas trendy que el rojo, el rojo se sigue llevando con mucha fuerza. / Color in winter is important, at the stores the tone that highlight is black, but if we pay attention it's not the only color we can find. Even burgundy is more trendy than red, red still strong.

Un poco de historia. / A bit of history.
El rojo ha estado relacionado, a lo largo de la historia, con santos y pecadores, con reyes y comerciantes, con guerreros y prostitutas. Es el color de la sangre, del vino, de la pasión y del sufrimiento. / Red has been related, along history, with saints and sinners, kings and merchants, with warriors and prostitutes. It's the color of blood, wine, passion and suffer.

Es uno de los primeros colores que reconocieron las antiguas culturas. El nombre hebreo Adam significa rojo. En la mitología Griega, la rosa roja surgió de la sangre de Adonis, amante Afrodita. Desde entonces, el rojo se convirtió en el simbolo universal del amor, y del circulo natural de la vida; la vida y la muerte. / It's one of the first color that most old culture recognize. In Hebrew Adam means red. According to Greek mythology, red rose originate from Adonis, Aphrodite's lover. Therefore, red was turn into the universal color of love, and the natural circle of life: life and death. 

En la antigüedad solo la nobleza vestía de rojo porque los tintes utilizados para crear este color en las telas eran importados y por tanto muy caros. Por ello, el rojo, en lo que a moda se refiere, se convirtió en el color del dinero y de la alta costura; el que iba vestido de rojo era una persona adinerada en la sociedad. / Back in the old days only the nobility dress in red because the production required imported dyeing that were too expensive. Therefore, red, in fashion, turn into the color of money and couture; who wore red was a wealthy person.

Fue en el siglo XVIII cuando empezó a ser mal visto vestir de rojo, se decía que era vulgar e inapropiado. Los expertos pedían a las mujer de buen gusto, que se abstuvieran de vestir en este tono. El motivo? la clase burguesa estaba en alza, al igual que sus valores. A pesar de todo esto, el rojo seguía formando parte, hasta que en 1850 se publico la Letra Escarlata, en la novela se asociaba el rojo con el adulterio, lo que hizo que le rojo se desterrara completamente de la moda femenina. / In the 18th century it was frowned upon to wear red, it was said ot was vulgar and unsuitable. The experts asked women of good taste to refrain from wearing it. The reason? the bourgeois was rising, and so there values. Although all of this, red was still in fashion until 1850 when it was published The Scarlet Letter, on the novel red was associated with adultery, therefore red was banish from female fashion. 

A mitad del siglo XIX, gracias a los nuevos tintes sintéticos, el rojo volvió al mundo de la moda. Ahora era la clase obrera quienes vestían de rojo, les resultaba divertidisimo; era la primera vez que podían vestir de color.  Pero como todo, al popularizarse el rojo dejo de ser ese tono especial para pasar a convertirse en uno mas. / At mid-19th century, thanks to the new syntetic dyes, red return to fashion. Now was the working class who wear red, they found it funny: it was the first time they could wear color. But as everything, been popularize means red stooped been especial and turn into one more.
Por fin, en el siglo XXI, se ve al rojo como lo que es, un tono favorecedor, atractivo y estiloso. Muy inteligente Valentino, que lo asumió como color propio. Pero no fue solo Valentino, no, si pensamos en Givenchy, Revlon, .. también nos viene el rojo a la cabeza. / Finally in 21th century, red is seen as it is, a flattering tone, attractive and stylish. Valentino was very intelligent, he assume red has is own color. But was not only Valentino, no way, is we think about Givenchy, Revlon... red is also into our heads.

 El rojo es un tono que favorece muchísimo. Trasmite buenas energías y mucho positivismo, por eso dicen que es un tono fundamental cuando hay una crisis o se esta pasando por un mal momento./ Red looks great to many people. It transmit good energies and lots of positive, therefore it's said that during a crisis or a bad moment it's essential. 

Es un tono elegante, desafiante, fuerte, arriesgado, apto para que se lo pongan mujeres con personalidad. / It's an elegant, daring, strong, wild, perfect for women with personality.

El rojo es el tono perfecto para las rubias, no obstante según el tono de piel y pelo que tengas te ira mejor uno u otro. Aquí te dejo un pequeño esquema para que te sea sencillo. / Red is the perfect color for blondies, although up to your hair and skin tone will look nicer on you one or another.
