Seung Mo Park - Dibujando con alambres...

Seung Mo Park es un artista nacido en Corea del Sur cuyos maravillosos retratos están dando la vuelta al mundo a través de innumerables blogs. Trabaja con malla de alambre, la misma que yo usaba en mis clases de escultura en Bellas Artes. La misma que me dejaba las manos llenas de arañazos y que manejaba, digamos, regular... A base de superponer y cortar estas mallas, Seung Mo Park consigue unos delicados tramados y un contraste tan matizado de luces y sombras que hace que te olvides de la frialdad del metal y te dejes arropar por el calor de estos enormes y preciosos dibujos. No os lo perdáis manos a la obra, es impresionante. Seung Mo Park is an amazing artist from South Korea. His portraits have been around the world through countless blogs. He works with wire mesh, the same that I used in my sculpture classes in Fine Arts. The same that left my hands full of scratches ... His artworks are based on overlap and cut of these wire meshes. Seung Mo Park achieves a delicate contrast of light and shade that makes you forget the coldness of the metal and introduces you in the heat of these huge and beautiful drawings.
