Sigo con mis ejercicios de fotografía. Aunque todavía le doy aquí y allá sin ton ni son, empiezo a observar mejor lo que tengo delante de mis ojos. Estos ejercicios sencillos me ayudan a pensar sólo en la fotografía y no en que se me está enfriando la comida. Me tomo más tiempo y presto más atención a los detalles. Aunque sigo siendo una aprendiza, lo cierto es que me está gustando hacer esto. Mis modelos son un encanto, se portan estupendamente y hago con ellos lo que quiero o lo que puedo.
Esta vez he escogido como modelos dos huevos, por dos razones:
La primera es porque he recordado los ejercicios que hice cuando estudié bachillerato. Tuve un profesor de dibujo buenísimo aunque siento haber olvidado su nombre, recuerdo que era sevillano y que tenía un carácter insoportable. Sin embargo yo adoraba sus clases y aprendí muchísimo con él.
Uno de los ejercicios consistió en observar y dibujar las sombras y los volúmenes, para ello utilizábamos una lámpara sencilla y un cono de cartulina. El carboncillo, los dedos y una bola de algodón hacían el resto. Siempre tuve buenas notas en dibujo.
La segunda razón es The2Eggs, la página Facebook de mi hijo, estudiante de Nutrición. Aunque no le dedica mucho tiempo siempre publica informaciones muy interesantes y le animo a seguir con ello. Además poder compartir algunas cosas de lo que va aprendiendo es simplemente fantástico.

I continue with my photography exercises. Although I click here and there haphazardly, I am starting better observe what there is front of my eyes. These are simple exercises helping me to be focus only about photography, not thinking the food is being cold. I take more time to this and pay more attention to details. Even if I still being in the apprentice level, I’m enjoying it. My models are charming, beautifully behaved and I do with them what I want or what I can.
This time I chose two eggs like models, for two reasons:
The first reason is because I remembered the exercises I did when I studied at the high school. I had a terrific art teacher, sorry I forgot his name but I remember he was from Seville and he had a character unbearable. Nevertheless I loved his classes and I learned a lot with him.
One of the exercises was to observe and draw shadows and volumes, to do it we used a simple lamp and a cardboard cone. A piece of charcoal, my fingers and a cotton ball did the rest. I always had good grades in drawing.
The second reason is The2Eggs , the Facebook page of my son, a student of Nutrition. Although he does not spend to much time to publish, his finding are very interesting and I encourage him you to keep at it. In addition, I have the chance to sharing some of the things he is learning and it is just fantastic.
