A few days ago I was invited to a special event. It was the opening of the german designer, Philipp Plein at Paseo de Gracia street. The principal street where can find the main fashion brands. It what a pleasure for me.
The skulls, tacks and glitter, which we are using since a few seasons, and that has been copied to infinity, are the work of Philipp Plein. Also when you enter in the flagship the first thing you see is a giant skull with thousands of Swarovski crystals and the large chandelier with skulls decorating the entry. Amazing.
In Philipp Plein you can find handbags, slippers, shirts, scarves, boots and all kinds of garments, impregnated with pure spirit of skulls and of course by the designer. As well some limited collection that you can only buy there. Like for example the leather jacket with a with a picture of Mickey Mouse on the back. Beautiful.
In the new flagship you can see furniture created by Philipp Plein and if you like some of them can paid and have it at home. Those furniture define the new space as new luxury, transgressor, extreme, yet captivating.
But this new store is not the only in Spain. The luxury firm has got other in Marbella and also presence in more than sixty countries.
Philipp Plein is an obligated visit in Barcelona. Don´t miss it.
