'The Wind That Shakes The Barley' -Loreena McKennitt'The Wind That Shakes The Barley' es un solemne e inspirador trabajo. Loreena McKennitt regresa a sus orígenes con un nuevo álbum de música celta tradicional; concretamente de baladas irlandesas cantadas la mayoría de ellas para expresar su rechazo a la ocupación inglesa de Irlanda.
En su Web Oficial, Loreena McKennitt nos cuenta: "Every once and again there is a pull to return to one's own roots or beginnings, with the perspective of time and experience, to feel the familiar things you once loved and love still".
Consisting of nine songs, it was recorded with some of Loreena's long-time musical companions along with a cast of other accomplished musicians. The album, which is offered as a CD, a download and on vinyl, will begin its release this fall and continue into 2011. See the release dates tab for more information.
