What to wear on new year's eve?

Es la noche de las noches, quizás la mas larga de todo el año. Desde que eramos muy jóvenes, tenemos la concepción de que tenemos que arreglarnos, como dirían nuestros abuelos, ponernos las mejores galas. Pero ¿para que? ¿pare recibir el nuevo año? o ¿para salir luego a divertirnos? / It is the night of the nights, perhaps the longest of the year. Since we were very young, we have the idea that we have to dress up, as our grandparents would say, put on our best clothes. But for what? to receive the new year? or to go out party? 



Personalmente, es una noche que me trae buenos recuerdos aunque malos también, y que en lo mas hondo de mi corazón hace que tenga presentes a las personas que mas he querido,  y que por desgracia ya no están aquí. / For me, its a night that brings good memories, bad too, and in the depths of my heart there are present those people I have love most, and unfortunately are no longer hear. 


Volvamos a lo nuestro, a veces se me va la olla, cuando escribo. Lo mejor de esta noche, es que podemos ponernos divinas, con lo mejor de nuestros armarios y abusar de prendas, tonos y cortes que en otro momento no podemos ponernos. Es un nuevo año, ¿no? pues a empezarlo con buen pie. / Let's go back to out matter, sorry, sometimes my mind goes off when I am writing. The best of this night, is that we can be divine, with the best of our wardrobe, and abuse of garments, colors and cuts, we can't wear any other time. It's a new year no? let's start it right.

Te puedo dar mil prendas para ponerte, igual ya tienes una idea, o mil saliendo de tu armario. Pero me voy a centrar en cinco opciones, indispensables para esta temporada. / I can give you many ideas, you might even already know what to wear or have too many clothing hanging out of your closet for this. I am going to focus in five options, that are essential this season. 

1. Ponte metal. / Metallics are so in.

Se llevan mucho, lo importante es que brilles y mas en una noche como esa. Los pailletes son la opción perfecta para ponerte algo que posiblemente, no vas a poder durante el resto del año. Y si encima vas con prisas de ultima hora, no tendrás problemas en encontrarlos porque los tienes en casi todas las tiendas.  El único pero, es que hacen que tu figura parezca un poco mas gorda de lo que en la realidad es. / They are so in, it's important that you shine and more in a night like that. Pailettes are the perfect choice that probably you won't be able to wear the rest of the year. And if you are in a last minute rush, you will not have trouble finding them because they are every where. The only bad, is that they make your figure look a little fatter than what it really is.

2. Metal si, pero en dorado. / Metallic yes, but go for gold. 

Durante las colecciones de Otoño e Invierno hemos visto el dorado en todas partes; faldas, cinturones, botines, zapatos,  bolsos. ¿Y los vestidos? en vestidos también, por eso es el momento perfecto para abusar de este tono; es ahora o nunca.  / During the Fall and Winter collections we have seen gold everywhere, in skirts, belts, booties, shoes, purses. And what about dresses? in dresses too, therefore is the right moment to abuse of this tone; it's now or never.



3. Encaje y listo. / Lace and ready.

Es un clásico, que no pasa de moda. El encaje queda ideal, es elegante, estiloso, y chic. / It's a classic, that doesn't go out of fashion. Lace look great, elegant, stylish and chic.


4. Transparencias, pero casi  desapercibidas. / Sheer but very discreet. 

Se llevan muchísimo, sobre todo en vestidos negros, y quedan estupendos. Le dan ese toque distinto y distintivo; un aire elegante, muy estiloso y de chica mala inconfundible. / They are so trendy, more in black dresses, they look gorgeous. They gave it that different, and distintive touch; an elegant, stylish and bad girl air.


5. Arreglada pero no demasiado. / Dress up but not too much. 

Se que estas cansada de oírlo, pero en moda menos es mas. No hace falta que vayas demasiado recargada, que deslumbres o que te pongas el vestido mas elegante del momento, la elegancia y el estilo están dentro de cada uno, si sabes llevarlo puedes ponerte cualquier cosa, eso si, accesorizalo de tal modo que quede elegante y chic. / I know you are tired to hear it, but less is more. It's not necessary to dress too much,  to shine, or that you wear the most elegant dress of the moment, elehamce and style are inside each other, if you know how to wear it, you can wear anything, just accesorize it the righ way and you will be chic and cool.


Así que ¿sabes ya que te vas a poner para Noche Vieja? o al menos, ¿tienes una ligera idea? Incluso si buscas en tu armario encontraras algo que te va a quedar perfecto, solo es cuestión de imaginación, creatividad e iniciativa.  / So, do you already know what to wear on New Years Eve? or at least, an idea? You can even can take a look at your wardrobe and fin the perfect outfit, it only takes imagination, creativity and initiative.
