Dolores promesas ss 2011

A estas alturas me imagino que no hace falta que os cuente donde estuve el jueves de la semana pasada por la tarde ¿no?  Muchos os habréis enterado por otros blogs, o por el de Dolores Promesas, y ya sabéis lo que paso, pero ahora me toca a mi contaros mi punto de vista, y lo que es mejor, hablaros de la colección Primavera-Verano 2011 de Dolores Promesas. / At this point I guess you don't need me to tell you where I was last week on Thursday afternoon, right? Many of you already know by other blogs or Dolores Promesas' blog, and you know what happened but now it's my turn to write about it and better, tell you all about Dolores Promesas' Spring-Summer 2011 collection.

Jueves 17 de marzo por la tarde, salí de la oficina corriendo después de un día agotador y de haber dormido tres horas y media la noche anterior por la fiesta de Diesel, para ir al Encuentro de bloggers que organizaba la firma Dolores Promesas en la tienda de Claudio Coello, 69 (Madrid). Cuando llegué ya estaban muchas bloggers, algunas hojeaban el catálogo, otras hacían fotos, otras miraban las prendas.... así que no me detuve y saque mi cámara, hice tantas fotos que no puedo sacarlas todas en este post pero iré publicando algunas en Facebook, porque me ha costado mucho elegir. / Thursday, 17 march afternoon, I left the office running after a hard day and having slept three hours the night before due to the Diesel Party, to go to the Bloggers Meeting at Dolores Promesas' store in Claudio Coello, 69 (Madrid, Spain). When I arrived many bloggers were already there, some looking at the catalog, others taking pictures, some taking a look to the garments...so I didn't stooped and pulled out my camera, I took plenty of pictures but I can post them all, so I will publish few more on Facebook, because I had a hard time choosing.

La tarde fue estupenda, y encima tuve la suerte de conocer a otras bloggers encantadoras. En la imagen de abajo estoy con Leslie de Your Way Style (izquierda) y Adriana de Time for Fashion (derecha). / The evening was great and I was lucky to met other nice bloggers. In the picture below I am with Leslie from Your Way Style (left) and Adriana from Time for Fashion (right).

1. La colección. / The collection. 
Bueno y ahora vamos a lo mas interesante. Cuando ya estábamos todas, nos dividieron en dos grupos para presentarnos la colección de Dolores Promesas. Myriam Pintado y Alicia Hernandez son las directoras creativas de la firma y fueron ellas las que nos presentaron la colección. Fue estupendo escucharlas. / Well let's go to the subject. When we all were there, they divide us into two groups  to present Dolores Promesas Collection. Myriam Pintado and Alicia Hernandez, are the Creative Directors of the brand and they were in charge to present us the collection. It was great listening to them.


En la colección abunda el color, con prendas lisas y otras estampadas. Entre los estampados destacan los motivos de la naturaleza y los lazos, estos últimos como símbolo de la firma./ The collection is full of color, with plain garments and others with prints. Among the prints highlight the nature motive and ribbons, this last one as a symbol of the brand. 

Este vestido se llama Doñana, porque en el sur de España hay un parque natural con este nombre (os lo explico porque algunos sois de fuera) / This dress is named Doñana, Doñana is a nature park in the south of Spain. 

Los tejidos de las prendas son personalizados, son telas de calidad, y lo mejor de todo es que la fabricación es en España y en Portugal./ The fabrics of the clothes are personalize, and quality materials, and they are made in Spain and Portugal.

Las prendas me chiflan, son muy femeninas e ideales: minifaldas, vestidos, pantalones, shorts, camisas, tops, monos y las famosas camisetas de la firma. / I love the garments, they are so femenine and great: short skirts, dresses, pants, shorts, shirts, tops, jumpsuits and the popular t-shirts of the brand. 
Este vestido me encantó en cuanto lo vi. / I loved this dress when I saw it.
El vestido rojo es un must-have en mi armario esta temporada. No me fije en él hasta que Myriam nos lo enseño, es un básico ideal, y una de mis prendas favoritas de la colección. / This red dress is a must-have in my closet this season. I didn't notice it until Myriam show it to us, it's a gorgeous basic and one of my favorite garments of the collection. 
Me encanta esta camisa por su toque lady. / I love this blouse for the lady style.
La falda azul marino es preciosa, además se puede combinar de mil formas. / The navy blue skirt is beautiful plus it can be mix in a hundred ways. 
2. La línea Heaven. / Heaven line.
También, nos presentaron la colección de Heaven, que es la línea de fiesta de la firma. Fue muy curioso porque cada vestido esta pensado para que estes cómoda, no se vea el sujetador e incluso no sientas que se te caen los vestidos con escote palabra de honor. ¡Que buenas ideas! / They also presented the Heaven collection, which is the party line. It was bizarre because each dress is designed to keep you comfortable, the bra won't be seen and even the strapless dresses won't fall. What a great ideas!



3. Los acesorios. / The accessories. 
Como accesorios destacan las diademas con imagenes de Tula, y Dolores. Y la bisuteria, mis favoritos son los collares con cristales de Swarovski, que son ideales, y le da un toque muy chic a cualquier look. / As accessories highlight the headbands with images of Tula and Dolores. And the jewelery, my favorites are the necklace with Swarovski crystal, they are great and give a chic touch to any look.

Alicia lleva uno de los collares, como veis queda fenomenal con un look sport aunque están pensados para combinarlos con los vestidos de la línea Heaven. / Alicia wears one of the necklace, they look great with a casual look even they are made to mix with a Heaven dress. 
Otro detalle a destacar es la decoración de las tiendas. ¡Me encanta!, cada tienda esta personalizada y tiene una decoración distinta, eso sí, esta cuidado hasta el mínimo detalle./ Other detail to highlight is the store decoration. I love it! each store it's different and the decoration too, by the way in all of them is attentive every detail.

Para terminar os contare lo que muchas de vosotras ya sabéis. Si, se hizo un sorteo entre todas, y me tocó a mi el look que había elegido: un mono azul con estampado floral precioso. Mil gracias Myriam y Alicia, ¡me encanta! en cuanto lo combine con el cinturón y los zapatos adecuados va a quedar genial./ To end up I tell what most of you already know. Yes, a giveaway was done among all of us, and I was lucky to win the look I had chose: a beautiful flower print blue jumpsuit. Myriam and Alicia, thank you so much, I love it! as soon as I mix it with a belt and the right color of shoes it gonna look great.
