Hello, we are the blog Hadas de la Lectura, and we are very grateful that you accepted this interview.So if you're ready, let's start:
Note: abbreviations will be used for short names:Hadas de la Lectura: HDLLKristy Love: KL
HDLL: because writing a story about Jax and Cassi, and not continue with the main characters (will and Ry)? KL: I felt the bulk of Will and Ry’s story was over when The Fragile Fall ended. Sure, they have some journey left, but I thought the majority of it was wrapped up. Jax had been talking to me since I started writing Fragile Fall and he was impatient to get his story out. I knew Will and Ry would be in Jax’s story, so I knew we would get to see them again.
HDLL: we do not want to give spoilers, but the issues you deal Undone both books are strong, sensitive and emotionally intense ... What do you impulse to write about these topics?KL: I love stories that deal tug and pull on emotions. I also feel like mental health issues aren’t really talked about or understood. Sure, it’s getting more common, but I wanted to write a story about characters that deal with these issues and try to find a way through the rubble.
HDLL: Each story focuses specific issues and specific characters, Why Will choose the theme of depression and why Jax addiction, and not vice versa?KL: Will’s story was set for me from the beginning. I knew he was a damaged soul with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Jax was self-destructive. I didn’t really choose the themes, that’s the way the characters came to me.
HDLL: I had the opportunity to read these amazing stories, and what I love most was the way you wrote, alternating the two pvo of the main characters ... did any of them with whom you identify you most?KL: Will, probably, though there are pieces of me and my story in all the characters and all the stories.
HDLL: Hearfelt lies cover,  is beautiful, there is a reason or story behind it?It has any special meaning?KL: Interestingly enough, my 12-year-old daughter brainstormed the ideas for both of my covers. I told her the titles and she came up with the ideas. There’s an early teaser she made a long time ago when I was just writing Heartfelt Lies. It was a heart in a bottle. I thought the bottle was symbolic for Jax’s struggles and journeys.
HDLL: to investigate a little about yourself, I found that you started writing at an early age, Tell us how you started this passion for writing?KL: I don’t remember a time when I didn’t love writing. From the time I was little, I filled notebooks with stories. I took my spelling words in school and made them into stories. I used to write stories about my stuffed animals. I was always writing! And if I wasn’t writing, I was reading.
HDLL: we expect many (including me) the third installment of undone, where we shall talk of Roxie, What we can expect from this book?KL: Roxie is a different character than any of the others. She’s feisty, she’s… not as tragic. She has her own heartbreak, for sure, but her story doesn’t have her hitting rock bottom. HDLL: could you give a little preview?KL: I just posted this little snippet to my Facebook page and group. :) As of right now, Roxie’s book is unedited, untitled, and totally subject to change!
“Fuck,” Robert moaned. The word grated me. Robert never swore, at least not with me. He didn’t like it. He thought it was crass. A lump formed in my throat and it was painful.Whatever was behind this door… it was going to change everything. I already felt my life collapsing around me, turning upside down. My stomach was in knots and I felt like I was going to be sick.I reached forward, pushing the door open. The scene in front of me unfolding slowly.
HDLL: you are currently working on?KL: I’m currently about half way through with Roxie’s book.
HDLL: You will write  more stories of Undone?KL: I’m not sure. There’s a character in Roxie’s book who has started speaking to me, so she may get her own book. :)
HDLL: You planned change genre when writing?KL: I love writing romance. I love writing about characters falling in love. I love writing about love in general. I’m sure there will always be an aspect of romance in my writing, but I’m always open to anything!

HDLL: When you leave this interview will be in two languages ​​Spanish / English (because our blog is written is Spanish) ... any word or phrase that you know and you want to tell us?KL: Oh, man! I took Spanish in high school (I also took French). I’m awful at foreign languages. In French class, I had a friend sit beside me and whisper the answers to me when I was called on. I’m a disaster! I wish I knew some Spanish and I could tell you that you all are amazing!
HDLL: Tell us, what's your guilty pleasure?KL: Chocolate and reality TV shows. Especially when they’re together. ;)
HDLL: Author (s) favorite?KL: Colleen Hoover, definitely. I love everything by her! I also love T. Torrest. J.A. DeRouen, for sure. She’s such an amazing person, inside and out. And her books are just fabulous.
HDLL: some words you want to dedicate to your fans?KL: It’s crazy to think that I have fans. But if I could say anything? I’d say Thank you so much for taking a chance on me and these characters. Thank you so much for picking up one (or both!) of my books and loving it. I’m always around if you ever want to talk to me or vent to me about what these characters put you through. I love you!!!

Hola niñas! Como les había dicho hace unos cuantos días, este mes íbamos a tener unas cuantas sorpresas…y esta es otra de ellas.
Tuve el honor de poder entrevistar a Kristy Love autora de la serie Undone, una serie que está causando sensación en EEUU, por el tipo de temáticas e historia de romance que escribe.
 Undone está conformada hasta ahora de 3 libros, the fragile fall (mi opinión aquí), Hearfelt lies (que apenas salió) y el otro no tiene título pero se sabe que será de Roxie.
Sin mas las dejo con la entrevista muy HdlL.
Hola, somos del blog Hadas de la Lectura, y estamos muy agradecidas porque aceptaste esta entrevista.
Asi que si estas lista, comencemos:
Nota: se utilizaran siglas para abreviar los nombres:Hadas de la lectura será: HdlLKristy Love: KL
HdlL: porque escribir una historia sobre Jax y Cassi, y no continuar con los personajes principales (will y Ry)?KL: sentí que la mayor parte de la historia de Will y Ry termino cuando The Fragile Fall llego a su fin. Seguro, ellos tendrán algunas aventuras, pero pienso que la mayoría de eso fue abarcado. Jax había estado hablándome desde que comencé a escribir Fragile Fall y estaba impaciente porque saliera su historia. Sabía que Will y Ry estarían en la historia de Jax, así que sabía que los volvería a ver otra vez.
HdlL: no queremos dar spoilers, pero los temas que tratas en ambos libros de Undone  son fuertes, delicados y emocionalmente intensos…¿Qué es lo que te impulso a escribir sobre estas temáticas?KL: amo las historias de gran intensidad y llenas de emociones. También siento que los problemas de salud mental realmente no se están hablando de ello o entendiéndolos. Seguro, ahora es más común, pero quería escribir una historia con personajes que tuvieran estos problemas  y tratar de encontrar una salida entre los escombros.
HdlL: cada historia de centra unas temáticas específicas y personajes específicos, ¿Por qué elegir a Will con el tema de depresión y por qué  Jax de adicción, y no al revés?KL: la historia de Will esta lista desde el principio. Sabía que él tenía una alma atormentada con el peso del mundo sobre sus hombros. Jax era autodestructivo. Realmente yo no elegí los temas, ellos vinieron con los personajes a mí.
HdlL: tuve la oportunidad de leer estas asombrosas historias, y lo que más me encanto fue la forma que escribiste, alternando los dos pvo  de los personajes principales…¿hubo alguno de ellos con el que de identificaras más?KL: Will, probablemente, aunque hay piezas de mí y de mi historia en todos los personajes y en las historias.
HdlL: la portada de Hearfelt lies, es hermosa, hay una razón o historia de tras de ella? Tiene algún significado especial?KL: curiosamente, mi hija de 12 años tuvo una lluvia de ideas para las portadas de ambos libros. Le dije a ella los títulos y se puso a trabajar en ideas. Hay un banner que ella hizo hace mucho tiempo cuando estaba escribiendo Heartfelt lies. Era un corazón en una botella. Pensé que la botella simbolizaba las luchas y viajes de Jax.
HdlL: al investigar un poco sobre ti, encontré que comenzaste a escribir a una edad muy temprana, platícanos ¿cómo comenzó esta pasión por la escritura?KL: no recuerdo un momento en que no me gustara escribir. Desde que era pequeña, llenaba mis cuadernos de historias. Tomaba mis palabras de ortografía en la escuela y hacia historias. También escribía historias sobre mis animales de peluche. Siempre estaba escribiendo. Y si no estaba escribiendo, estaba leyendo.
HdlL: muchos esperamos (incluida yo) la tercera entrega de undone, en donde nos hablaras de Roxie, ¿Qué es lo que podemos esperar de este libro?KL: Roxie es un personaje muy diferente a los otros. Ella es luchadora…no es tan trágica. Ella tiene su propio tormento, seguro, pero su historia no la hará tocar fondo.
HdlL: ¿ no podrías dar un pequeño adelanto?KL: acabo de postear este pequeño fragmento en mi página de Facebook y grupo J . El libro de Roxie está sin editar, sin título y totalmente sujeto a cambios.
“joder” Robert gimió. La palabra me lastimo. Robert nunca maldecía, al menos no conmigo. No le gustaba. Pensó que era grosero. Un nudo se formó en mi garganta y era doloroso.Lo que sea que estaba detrás de esta puerta…iba a cambiar todo. Ya sentía como mi vida colapsaba al redor de mí. Mi estómago estaba en nudos y sentía que iba a vomitar.Fui hacia delante y empuje la puerta abierta. La escena en frente de mí se desarrollaba lentamente.
HdlL: en que estas trabajado actualmente?KL: actualmente estoy a la mitad de camino con el libro de Roxie.
HdlL: Haras mas historias de Undone?KL: no estoy segura, hay un personaje en el libro de Roxie que ha empezado a hablarme, así que puede que ella consiga su propio libro. J

HdlL: Has planeado cambiar de genero a la hora de escribir?KL: amo escribir romance. Amo escribir sobre personajes que se enamoran. Amo escribir sobre el amor en general. Estoy segura de que siempre tendré ese aspecto del romance en mi escritura, pero siempre estoy abierta a cualquier cosa!

HdlL: Cuando salga esta entrevista, estará en dos idiomas Español /ingles (porque nuestro blog está escrito es español)…alguna frase o palabra que sepas y nos quieras decir?Kl: oh, hombre! Tome español en la secundaria (también tome francés). Y soy horrible en las lenguas extranjeras. En la clase de francés tuve un amigo que se sentaba a mi lado y me susurraba las respuestas cuando me llamaban. Soy un desastre! Desearía saber algo en español y poder decírtelo porque todas ustedes son asombrosas!
HdlL: Dinos, cuál es tu placer culposo?KL: chocolate y los rality shows de la televisión. Especialmente cuando ellos están juntos J

HdlL: Escritor (s) favorito?KL: Colleen Hoover, definitivamente. Amo cualquier cosa de ella! Y también amo a T. Torrest, J.A. DeRouen, seguro, pero ella es una persona increíble por dentro y fuera. Y sus libros son simplemente fabulosos.
HdlL: algunas palabras que quieras dedicarle a tus fans?KL: es loco pensar que tengo fans, pero si les pudiera decir algo? Les diría que muchas gracias por darme una oportunidad a mí y a los personajes. Muchas gracias por tomar uno (o ambos) de mis libros y amarlos.
