Japon 400: art between japan and madrid

Estas fechas del año, nos traen locos a todos; comidas, cenas, copas con los amigos. Mil cosas se acumulan en nuestra agenda, esperando el momento apropiado para salir de ella y realizarse. Una de las que mas me apetecían, era acudir a la inauguración de la exposición JAPON 400; un escaparate de arte, que engloba a varios artistas, el motivo: los 400 años de intercambio Hispano-Japones, y la versión que tienen estos artistas de la cultura japonesa. / This time of the year, bring us all crazy; lunch, dinner, hanging out with friends. A thousand things accumulate in our agenda, waiting the right moment to get out of it and be done. One of them was the opening of the exhibition JAPAN 400; a showcase of art, which includes few artist, the reason: the 400 years of exchange Hispanic-Japanese, and the version those artist have of the Japanese culture. 


Mario Monforte.
El mayor motivo para acudir a ella, era poder ver de cerca el ultimo trabajo de mi amigo Mario Monforte. Mario, del cual ya te he hablado en alguna ocasión, es un artista conceptual que trabaja con las técnicas digitales actuales para plasmar el retrato y la cotidianidad de la sociedad en la que vivimos. / The biggest reason to go, was to be able to see up close the last work of my friend Mario Monforte. Mario, of which I have already write about in a few ocassion, it's a conceptual artist who work with digital techniques to capture the portail of the society we live in.

Con el motivo de JAPÓN 400, Mario ha realizado dos obras: Sakura Girl y Pixel Poetry. Ambas son muy distintas entre si, son pura poesía, dejan de ser del artista para convertirse en parte del espectador.  Quieres saber mas? no dejes de leer, es pura cultura. / Due to JAPON 400, Mario has created two pieces: Sakura Girl and Pixel Poetry Both are very diffrent, they are pure poetry, they stop been of the artist to became part of the viewer. You want to know more, keep reading, is pure culture.

Sakura Girl. Una obra fotográfica que ensalza la belleza, la sensualidad y el atractivo femenino asiático. La chica se oculta con timidez, se cubre con su cabello y con un quimono blanco. En el frontal de dicho kimono aparecen dibujadas en acuarela, sobre papel fotográfico, las flores Sakura. Estas flores son simbolo de la cultura japonesa, sus significados son diversos entre ellos destacan un nuevo comienzo de la vida, la belleza naturaleza, la fugacidad de las cosas,... / Sakura Girl. A photographic work that acclaim the beauty, sensuality and atractive of the asian female. The girl hides shyly, cover herself with her hair, and a white kimono. In front of the kimono are drawn in watercolor, on photographic paper, the Sakura flower. Thsi flower is the symbol of the Japanishe culture, it has many meanings, among them highlight the new begining of live, the beauty of the nature, the pathos of things,...

Pixel Poetry. Esta obra esta realizada en esmalte de vinilo sobre pvc transparente, se trata de un Haiku, el primer Haiku transparente del mundo. Pero que es un Haiku? El Haiku, es un estilo de poesía tradicional japonesa, un poema breve generalmente formado por tres versos, donde la naturaleza es el objeto poético de los sentimientos humanos. Es una de las formas mas antiguas de comunicación japonesas, es anterior a la filosofía Zen y al Budismo. / Pixel Poetry. The work is made on varnish vinyl over transparent pvc, it's a Haiku, the first transparent Haiku of the world. But what is a Haiku? A Haiku is Japanese poetic form, a short poem usually made of three verses, where nature is the poetic object of the human feelings. It's one of the oldest forms of Japanish comunications, older than the Zen philosophy and the Buddishm.
En el caso de Pixel Poetry, el tema principal es la humanización de la tecnología, para lo que Mario, se basa en el Pixel y la capacidad de amar de este; hacemos tan indispensable la tecnología que llega un momento que le pedimos demasiado. / The main theme at Pixel Poetry, is the humanization of the technology, Mario focus on a Pixel and the ability it has to love; we make technology so essential that come a time we ask to much to it.

La suerte es que fue una noche estupenda, eso si, Madrid estaba hasta arriba por tema Navidad, pero el tiempo acompañaba, y la compañía mas. Mario (por supuesto); David Gracia Miras; Marina Jamieson, que es un amor de niña y con quien me encanta charlar, Marina es una de esas personas que siempre tiene algo que enseñarte; y mi amiga Paula y si chico que me acompañaron. Mil gracias a todos!, como siempre habrá que repetir. / The luck is that it was a great night, although Madrid was crazy for Christmas time, but the weather was nice, and the company more. Mario (of course), David Garcia Miras; Marina Jamieson, a nice girl who I love chatting with, Marina is one of  those people that always has something to teach; and my friend Paula and her boyfriend. Thank you so much guys, we have to do it again sometime!
