Este verano hemos viajado a Rusia, a Moscú y San Petersburgo. Me hacía mucha ilusión y mi marido organizó, como siempre, un viaje estupendo. La verdad es que se trata de ciudades muy distintas, pero las dos me han gustado mucho.
This summer we have travelled to Russia, to Moscow and Saint Petersburg. I looked forward visiting that country and my husband organized, as he always does, a marvellous trip. The truth is that, they are very different cities, but I loved both.
Hoy os cuento sobre Moscú, una ciudad enorme de grandes avenidas y edificios donde el metro es imprescindible para moverse, y aún así acabaréis agotados de caminar. Pero te permite sumergirte en la historia del siglo XX y te ofrece maravillas como la Plaza Roja. Los moscovitas son muy serios, aunque amables en el trato. Conviene aprender un poco el alfabeto ruso porque no hablan inglés y no es una ciudad muy turística.
Today I talk you about Moscow, a huge city with wide avenues and buildings; where the underground is indispensable to getting around, and nonetheless you will be exhausted from walking. But it enables you to immerge in the history of the 20th century and it offers such wonders as the Red Square. The Muscovites are very serious, though friendly. It is convenient to learn a little of the Russian alphabet because a few people speak English and is not a very tourist city.
