Este mes de septiembre está resultando agotador. Es cierto que este verano no hemos podido descansar mucho, salvo la semana que nos fuimos de viaje, y llevamos cansancio acumulado de dos años (el verano pasado tampoco tuvimos vacaciones). Pero pensaba que volver a la rutina y pasar el caluroso verano nos vendría bien.
This September is proving to be exhausting. It is true that this summer we were not able to get much rest, but for the week we went on a trip, and we have accumulated tiredness for two years (last summer we did not have vacations either). But I thought that returning to daily routine and leaving this hot summer behind would be great.
Pues el calor no se ha ido, sino que ha subido, acompañado de una espantosa humedad que está volviendo locos a todos los habitantes de Valencia (el tráfico es una locura, la gente está cansada,...); tenemos un montón de trabajo (que no va acompañado de un incremento de nuestros ingresos, ¡ojalá!) y llevo dos semanas enferma con vértigos.
But the heat hasn’t gone, it has even increased, with a terrible humidity that is driving us crazy in Valencia (the traffic is extremely bad, the people are tired...); besides we have lots of work (which does not mean higher incomes) and I am suffering dizziness last two weeks.
¿Qué hacer? Muchos abrazos y cariño de y a la familia y muchas labores. Ambas cosas me dan la paz y el bienestar que necesito. Lo primero lo sabemos todos, pero hay que practicarlo día a día. Yo soy afortunada porque lo tengo a cada segundo.
What to do? Lots of hugs and love from and to our family and many needleworks.. Both things give me peace and the well-being that I need. We all know the first thing, but it is necessary to practise it day after day. I am lucky because I have it to every second of my life.
Y en cuanto a las labores, se está poniendo de moda la idea de que son una buena terapia, pero de verdad que lo son. Os lo aconsejo al 100%.
And as for needlecrafts, it’s becoming trendy the idea that they are a good therapy, and indeed they are. I reccomend them 100%.
