Paso de ser una chiquilla callada que cantaba en las Spice Girls a una mujer estirada de la que se reían a menudo los medios de comunicación, y de ahí se ha convertido en una gran diseñadora que ha demostrado su talento, y es admitada por muchos en este campo. / She went from been a quiet girl who sing in the music group Spice Girls to be a dive woman the mass media laugh at, and from there she turned into a huge designer who has prove her gift and is admired in this field.


Victoria es consciente de que muchas personan se han reído de ella, y que pensaban que si estaba donde estaba era porque se había casado con el "gran futbolista" David Beckham. Pero dejando a parte el tema de si el matrimonio era un contrato de marketing mas que otra cosa, porque esta claro que los dos juntos han tenido mucho tirón, lo cierto es que Victoria es un claro ejemplo de que no se puede subestimar a nadie. Con esa cabeza, su creatividad y sus dones sociales, ha logrado crear una firma de diseño de gran prestigio, colección tras colección ha demostrado que es capaz, que tiene buenas ideas, y que sus piezas son una maravilla. / Victoria is aware many people have laugh at her, that many people though she was where she was because she had married the "the popular soccer player" David Beckham. But we are leaving aside the idea the marriage was a marketing contract of whatever, because is clear both together had success, the truth Victoria is a clear example you can't underestimate nobody. With that head, her creativity, her social contacts, she had create an amazing fashion brand. collection after collection she has prove she is able, she has great ideas and her pieces are just gorgeous.

Estoy deseando contarte como Victoria creo su imperio, que paso en el 2008 pero va a tener que esperar. Ahora toca conocer a la mujer, a Victoria, conocer su estilo y lo que lleva, ya hablaremos sobre la mujer de negocios, la diseñadora de éxito, la mente creativa, pero lo haremos en otro post. / I am willing to tell you how Victoria has created her empire, what happened in 2008 but it will have to wait. Biografía. / Biography. 

Victoria Caroline Adams nació el 17 de Abril de 1974 en Hertfordshire como primogénita de una familia de clase media britanica. Su madre Jacqueline era dependienta de seguros y peluquera. Su padre, Anthony era ingeniero electrónico.  / Victoria Caroline Adams was born on April 17th 1974 in Hertfordshire as the first born of a media class British family. Her mother Jacqueline was a insurance clerk and hairdresser. Her father, Anthony was an electronic engineer.

En 1980 después de ver el musical Fama, decidió que quería dedicarse a algo parecido  y convenció a sus padres para que la apuntar a la escuela de teatro Jason Theater School. En 1991 Victoria entro en un colegio de teatro independiente, Laine Theater Arts, para estudiar baile y formarse como modelo. En 1993 acudió a un casting donde buscaban chicas para cantar en un grupo musical,  y tras pasar dichas pruebas en 1994 se convirtió en un miembro de las Spice Girls. / In 1980 after seen the musical Fame, she decides she want to work in something similar and convinced her parents to attend to the Jason Theater School. In 1991 Victoria enroll a independent collage, Laine Theater Arts, to studied dance an modeling. In 1993 she attended to an audition to sing in a musical group, after passing the test in 1994 she tun into a Spice Girls.

En 1997 empezó a salir con el famoso futbolista David Beckham después de coincidir con el en un partido benéfico de fútbol. Según cuentan fue David quien pidió acercarse a Victoria. Se casaron el 4 de Julio de 1999 en Irlanda, su hijo mayor Brooklyn tenia 4 meses ese día. En la actualidad tienen otros 3 hijos. / In 1997 she started dating the football player David Beckham after happend to meet at a charity football match. Was David who wanted to meet Victoria. They got married on July 4th 199 in Irland, their old son Brooklyn was 4 month old that day. Now they have 2 other sons and a daughter.

Entre el 2000 y 2003, Victoria se dedico a su carrera en solitario como cantante en solitario pero el éxito no fue demasiado y dejo de centrase en ello cuando le propusieron la idea de volver a juntar a las Spice Girls para una gira entre 2007 y 2008. Aunque posteriormente ha seguido dedicándose a la música. / Between 2000 and 2003, she dedicated her life to her solo singer carrier but the sucess was not much, and she stopped focus on it when the Spice Girls come together for a reunion tour in 2007 and 2008. After it she had still work in music but it was not what the future had for her.


A Victoria se le ha reconocido, desde que entro en las Spice Girls, como icono de estilo. En el 2000 desfilo en la Semana de Moda de Londres para  Maria Grachvogel. Ha sido embajadora britanica para la firma Dolce and Gabbana. En 2004 diseño una linea de ropa para la firma Rock & Republic denominada VB Rocks. / Victoria has been recognize, since she joined the Spice Girls, as a fashion icon. In 2000 she catwalk at London Fashion Week for Maria Grachvogel. She has been the British ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana. In 2004 she has design a clothing line for Rock & Republic named VB Rocks.

En 2006 desfilo para Roberto Cavalli en Milán. Ha sido estilista de Katie Holmes, de echo hizo de editora de moda para un reportaje de Katie en Harper's Baazar en el numero de marzo de 2006. Ese mismo año lanzo su firma de ropa vaquera, DVB Denim. En 2007 fue jueza de London's annual Graduate Fashion Week para elegir al ganador del Premio River Island Gold Award. En 2008 fue imagen de Marc Jacobs. Gracias a su éxito en moda ha aparecido en las portadas de las mejores publicaciones del mundo de moda. / In 2006 she catwalked at Roberto Cavalli in Milan. She has work as Katie Holmes' stylish, she was the fashion editor on Katie's fashion editorial for Harper's Baazar in the march 2006 issue. The same year she lunched her denim brand DVB denim. In 2007 she was a judge in London's annual Graduate Fashion Week to chose the winner of River Island Gols Award. In 2008 she the image of Marc Jacobs. Thanks to her fashion sucess she has appeared in covers of many fashion magazines.

Aunque su estilo siempre ha tenido un toque british, Victoria lo ha ido modificando con el tiempo. Antes era adicta a las camisetas y los vaqueros, ahora los cambia por pantalones de traje y camisas. Los vestidos eran muy cortos y bastante llamativos, o muy cortos o muy escotados. / Althoug her style had always had a british touch, Victoria has change throug time. Before she use to be adicted to t-shirts and jeans, now they change them for suite pants and shirts. Dresses were too shorts and very garish, or too short or too very low cut.

El estilo de Victoria es clasico, chic y estiloso pero nada arriesgado. El minimalismo parace ser el factor comun entre todos sus estilismos, eso si, nunca olvida los accesorios. Pero a la vez experimenta con piezas nuevas, sabe como renovar su look cuando quiere. / The style of Victoria is classic, chic, and stylish but not risky at all.  Minimalist is what we see more in her looks but she never miss the accessories. She also experiment with new pieces, she knows how to renew her look when she wants.

Con el paso del tiempo se a relajado y busca prendas mas comodas y relajadas.  Las faldas han bajado y aunque lleva alguna minifalda, las faldas tubo y por debajo de la rodilla (faldas midi) son las que escoge para llevar en su día a día. / As the years have pass by she is more relaxed and so she looks for comfortable and nice pieces to wear. Skirts are down and although she is wearing few miniskirts, pencil skirts and below the knee skirts (midi skirts) are the ones she prefer to wear on her day to day.

Para los bolsos ha sido adicta al Birkin bag, aunque ya no abusa tanto de ellos como antes. Eso si, si el bolso es grande tipo shopping o tote le gusta llevarlo en el codo y el bolso mediano en la mano como si se tratase de un clutch. / About bags she has been adicted to the Hermes' Birkin bag, although she doesn't wear it as much as she use to. If the purse is a shopping bag or a tote she loves to wear it on the elbow, middle purses are wear in the hand as if they were a clutch.

She loves high heels although lately she wears few flats, she said to this: "flats are just as chic".
