El lado oscuro de Sundance enseña sus cartas

Bajamos la persiana en el Park City, la abrimos en Austin, de ese lado oscuro de Sundance también llamado South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW). Hasta la más profunda Texas viajamos para daros cuenta de una programación recién anunciada. Allá donde joyas del calado de "Attack the Block", "Natural Selection", "Dragonslayer" y "Detention", o nombres como el de los hermanos Duplass o Lena Dunham han resultado definitivamente encumbrados.

Pues bien, así a botepronto, 'personajes' de la talla de Harmony Korine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Joss Whedon, Andrew Bujalski, Jeff Nichols, Joe Swanbeg David Gordon Green, John Sayles, Shane Carruth, Joshua Oppenheimer, y como no, Richard Linklater, están llamados a tomar Austin.

El lado oscuro de Sundance enseña sus cartas

Todas ellas pasarán por el icónico y entrañable Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (como mandan los cánones, si suena tu móvil o comes palomitas, a la calle) aunque las que verdadermente nos interesan son los pequeños (y no tan pequeños) tesoros que nos pueda descubrir. De momento, os dejamos con su programación oficial. Más de 100 títulos con 70 premieres mundiales que a partir del próximo mes (concretamente del 8 al 17 de marzo) os diseccionaremos.
